This is a “best kept secret“ nestled in a narrow storefront on a one-way street in the middle of Athens. What a gem to find this hotel. Yes it’s an older building, but it’s been renovated in the last few years and there’s even an elevator so you don’t have to bring luggage up the winding staircase.

Do Not Stay Here. Major Security Risk.

⭐☆☆☆☆ 1/5
I would never, ever stay here again.
This property is marketed as a hotel, but that is misleading. It is more of a limited-service lodging with little to no support when something goes wrong. At no point was it clearly communicated that the front desk would not be staffed for much of our stay. When issues arose, there was no proactive assistance, and I found myself having to prompt the front desk for help rather than receiving any meaningful customer service.
The room itself was extremely disappointing. It was substandard for the price charged and felt significantly overpriced compared to other accommodations in the area.
The biggest concern was safety. The door to our room would not properly latch or lock and could be opened from the outside without using a key. That is completely unacceptable. We ended up barricading the door with furniture before going to bed because we did not feel safe. No guest should ever have to worry about the security of their room.
Sleep was nearly impossible. The noise from the surrounding bars and music continued until approximately 3:00 a.m., and everyone in of our group who stayed at this property were kept awake. If a property is located in such a loud area, guests should be clearly informed before booking.
Finally, the transportation arrangements were an absolute disaster. I have stayed at countless hotels around the world that have arranged airport transportation and pickup times, and this was by far the most disorganized experience I’ve encountered. We were told the driver would text us 10–15 minutes before pickup, but that never happened. Instead, a different driver arrived, and only after we had already left did the original driver call upset that we weren’t there. I didn’t even receive his information until five minutes after we had departed. Communication was virtually nonexistent from start to finish, creating unnecessary stress at the worst possible time.
Between the lack of security, sleepless night, misleading service expectations, poor communication, and overpriced accommodations, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. I cannot recommend this property and strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you value safety, service, and a good night’s sleep.

This hotel is very well located centrally walking distance to most of the central Athens sites. HOWEVER it is only suitable for short stays because of what it does not have. There is vitually no lobby to sit in. There is no area where to sit at tables or otherwise except in the room. No breakfast area or sitting area of any kind. Breakfast is served to your room. Not sure whether its prepared on the premises or brought in from one of the local cafes. If only a couple travelling this would be ok. Not suitable for 4 or more unless your happy to sit in each others beds as no where else to convene.
