Charming traditional rural retreat.

This is a lovely traditional Greek rural retreat, with large clean rooms, a comfy bed, a nice pool, and tasty breakfasts. Our room had a ceiling fan rather than AC, which was more than enough to ensure a good nights sleep in early Sep. The breakfasts were simple but delicious,with the nicest honey and yoghurt of our holiday. Like most places in Greece, they have very friendly cats and a lovely dog who roam the grounds, so you'll need to allow time to say hello to all of them as you pass by. To top it off, the host is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and which ones of the excellent local tavernas to go to. If you want a modern Instagram ready hotel, it's not for you, but if you want a relaxing stay in a lovely small Greek hotel, it's perfect.

a guest house with medium comfort

a guest house with medium comfort: the room was large enough but wobbly shower , small windows so no air , toilet broken down during the 3 days of the stay (..) , bedding ok , idem breakfast ok
There are 2/3 taverns in the area, we tried one that's nice, the area is a little secluded but not far from a viewpoint famous for its sunset

Very nice house, quiet and well located.
Be careful the restaurant is not open , only breakfasts are served.
The bar is closed too, no one
The television was down.
And for those suffering from heat , only a ceiling fan, it can easily make 27 in the bedroom.

Characterful accommodation in rural Corfu

This 200 year old house is located in the village of Peroulades, a short drive from package-tour Sidari. Aside from some through traffic, peace reigns in the village. Villa de Loulia is for visitors who seek traditional accommodation with character; those seeking a contemporary Instagrammable experience should look elsewhere! Our room was comfortable, although the beds were on the firm side. The shower over the bath was adequate - plenty of hot water. Light sleepers could have an issue with traffic noise early morning. Breakfast is served on the terrace or in an attractive salon; the selection of items was adequate; coffee was good and yogurt with honey exceptional. There is a large swimming pool although indifferent weather meant we never used it. There are several restaurants within walking distance plus a loud bar overlooking Loggas beach outside the village. The owner of Villa de Loulia is very friendly and helpful.

Quiet

Very nice Family Pension, superb pool, the welcome is very warm and the breakfast very satisfying. No air conditioning but a ventilo that allows to spend the night properly. The room was top with small living room and impeccable bathroom.
