Nice hotel.

Fantastic little hotel with calm and friendly atmosphere.
Top service. Friendly and welcoming staff.
Clean and nice rooms and outdoor areas.
My only complaint is that the shower is handheld. And it's actually not a complaint
I give my warmest recommendation.

Well worth staying here!

A lovely friendly family run hotel, we were delayed flying into Crete which put us at the hotel at passed midnight!
As it’s a small business the reception was closed BUT we had a lovely notice left on the door telling us which room we’re in and to just see them in the morning when we were ready. Inside the room had been left stuffed peppers for us to eat! Which absolutely fantastic as we were indeed starving!
In the morning we headed for breakfast which overlooked the beach again blown away
The whole of the stay stayed at this level fantastic hotel, brilliant and happy staff, what else do you want!!!

The right size for a holiday in Crete

Chosen for the particular architectural style of the pool and for the proximity to the free private beach, it 'turned out to be a great structure, cozy, good daily cleaning, large rooms with attached kitchen, good breakfast on the veranda overlooking the sea. Quiet compared to the evening chaos of Platanias, with convenient parking and strategically located to organize tours to the mythical beaches of Balos Elafonissi, Falassarna or to visit Chania. Courteous and efficient reception, attached restaurant with the excellent and friendly chef Caterina and staff. Returning from the tours you find yourself saying "let's go home", not to the hotel for the Welcoming and tranquility dimension.

We were 3 families staying at Caretta Beach Hotel and absolutely loved it. The hotel is just steps away from the beach, extremely well maintained and unbelievably clean. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed somewhere this spotless! Housekeeping did an excellent job. The location was also perfect, a great home base for day trips to Elafonisi Beach and Balos.
The staff’s kindness really stood out throughout our visit. Adonis at the restaurant was so friendly and made us feel welcome every day. He was an absolute pleasure to talk to! Lea and Katerina at the restaurant always greeted us with a smile and Maria at the bar was so kind. The hotel manager, Yianni, was very helpful and gave us fantastic local tips that made exploring the area so much easier.
Everything about our stay was perfect. We felt right at home. You have to go here! Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be coming back!
