What an amazing hotel! The room was beautiful - made me wish we’d planned more downtime just to enjoy it. The staff were so kind and went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. A perfect stay!

Great location, great staff, fantastic breakfast! Highly recommend. Only issue is parking because old town Chania is not accessible by car, so you have to find parking about a 1/2 mile away and walk. Still worth it, just be prepared for the parking spot hunt. (We found parking garage, and paid about 25€ a day)

Trouble with transfers & politeness

We prepaid for pickup at the airport and to take us to the hotel. The taxi dropped us off 300 meters from the hotel and pointed which way to go. We dragged our suitcases around for 40 minutes before we found it. The streets are narrow alleys and wind around. The desk clerk said that the taxi was supposed to call the hotel and that they would have met us to assist with the bags. He told us that when we leave someone would help us to the taxi. The day before we left, we asked a different front desk clerk to arrange our departure. He told me that he has a bad leg and couldn't help us. I had no idea how to find the taxi so I arranged one myself. He was very rude to me! On our first morning, a nice young lady offered to show us how to use the coffee machine before breakfast time. On our second last day, the grumpy man from the front desk scolded us for touching the machine. They obviously need a team meeting to get on the same page. Guests shouldn't be belittled for doing what we were told! All of the other staff were very nice and the breakfasts were excellent. The hotel is well situated near great restaurants.

Excellent hotel

Beautiful hotel with excellent location in the heart of old town. Clean and peaceful atmosphere. Nice and helpfull staff. Great breakfast.

Staff was amazing! Breakfast was very good and we really enjoyed the property! We will def be visiting again!!!
