Very special little hotel.
We have just got back from this absolute gem of a hotel, it’s beautifuly clean, the housekeepers go in every day. Our room was facing the small well kept garden and a typically Greek view.
The staff can’t do enough for you.
The town of Gouvia is a nice small town with everything you would need, tavernas, pubs, supermarket, etc.
The beach is just across from the hotel. It’s a small beach with plenty of sunbeds for everyone. €18 a day inc a bottle of water 2 beds and an umbrella. If I had one small fault it would be that the area leading to and around the beach could maybe do with a little tidy up. It’s a bit grubby. But don’t let that put you off.
Take beach shoes if you want to go in the sea.
The other entrance to the Iliana leads right out to the centre of the town.
We stayed in a standard room with a double bed, sofa fridge and bathroom.
We will be returning at some point because it’s lovely.

Top hotel
What a lovely hotel. Right on the beach and with a small staircase you are in the main street.
Restaurant and reception have recently been renovated.
Room looked neat as if it had just been renovated but turned out not to be so. Room was cleaned every day and clean towels every other day. Cleaning lady was very friendly and precise in her work. The complex looks clean and tidy.
Restaurant on the beach for lunch and dinner is slightly more expensive than average but was very good food and the service on top and top friendly.
Received at the hotel was warm and we felt very welcome. We got a room with a nice uut view directs the sea.
Environment is quiet with some old cottages.

A fantastic week!
We spent an incredible one-week at Iliada Beach Hotel and cannot recommend it enough. The entire property is clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and relaxing environment from the moment you arrive. The staff are exceptionally friendly and always ready to help with a smile. Every meal was delicious, featuring high-quality ingredients and a wide variety of excellent choices. The rooms and common areas were kept absolutely spotless throughout our entire stay. The warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome and cared for. Having direct access to a private beachfront made our beach days effortless and calming.

Our experience
Good front desk service with attentive staff.
Room moderately clean (dust and an old sock found under the bed).
Breakfast of lower quality, little choice, and repetitive.
As for the restaurant and bar, it's great!
Very good dishes! 10% off if you stay at the hotel.
The beach is small but clean. Lounge chair, umbrella, and water bottle provided for €18 per day.
The big downside is the transfer service, because on the return trip (time and location confirmed the day before), they did not show up. We had to take a taxi and pay €25.

Great place! Could probably use some updating in the bedrooms but for the price we paid and the location I have no complaints.
