Cretan Hostel a few meters from the sea

We spent 10 wonderful days in Kalamaki Crete at the Arsinoi Studios apartments! Noe and her family welcomed us with a critical hospitality worthy of her fame! The apartments are located a few meters from organized beach, cafes and the most beautiful sunset of Crete! In a quiet spot where you can enjoy the space outside, on the balcony or in the garden. Cleanliness and service at the end along with the lasting warm smile of Noi make you feel like at home! Do not miss to visit the store with the authentic Cretan products of the family in the same neighborhood.Kalamaki as an area is indicated if you intend to make visits to many points of interest of the island!

2 amazing weeks

This was the perfect place for us to stay. Everything about it was 5 star. The people the room, the location, the breakfast. Everything was amazing. The family that hosts it here is an absolute treasure. The CreteNature store is also an amazing place to pick up the best honey that you’ll ever have, olive oil and other things for your trip home. What a wonderful experience.

The return

After a ten year gap we decided to return to Kalamaki and to the beautiful Arsinoi Studios. It was like returning home. The accommodation really lovely, the host, Arsinoi herself, welcoming and so hospitable. Breakfast was fantastic and the place itself only a few steps from the beach and a host of great tavernas. It is a shame that more people don’t know of this hidden gem.

Cretan hospitality at a family bed and breakfast - not just a hotel room

When it comes to making you feel welcome and at home, this family went all out to make sure we had everything we needed and could have wished for. We were greeted with a plate of fresh fruit from the garden, and they ordered the taxi for us when it was time to go. Noi even made us a home-cooked meal to celebrate our last night with them, a real treat, better than any restaurant! This family-owned and -run bed and breakfast makes you part of their family. If you've heard anything about Cretan or Greek hospitality, this is exactly that cultural experience.
We had a room with a big balcony, very quiet, big, bright and clean. The property isn't directly on the waterfront, but that didn't bother us since we could walk to the promenade in 30 seconds. We look forward to visiting beautiful Kalamaki and Noi's family again!

Great studios at a nice and quiet location

I agree with most reviews, the studios are great and good value for money. We stayed here for 2 weeks and enjoyed it very much. Good rooms, good location nice restaurants at the beach nearby. The sand beach with cost free beach chairs und sun umbrellas is 2 minutes away. The breakfast at Arsinoi is perfect. The owner are very friendly and help you whenever it is necessary Noi ist he good soul of the house.. We loved to stay at Arsinoi and we will come back.
