Fantastic property with a most caring host!

We stayed with my family at this traditional and beautifully decorated property, at a very spacious and cozy room with an attic. This great stay was amplified by the personalised and very warm welcome of Rodopi, who made us feel throughout our stay as we were being hosted by a family member. Thank you Rodopi and we’ll be back soon!

Overpriced and intrusive hostess

Overall, the room was okay but it was very pricey for what it is.
I wouldn't stay there ever again.
The soundproofing was nonexistent and we could hear the neighbors. It looked like it was a house split in two suites.
The shower was leaking water everywhere because the doors didn't shut properly.
The main door of the suite had thin curtains, and was right in front of the bathroom, which meant that you had to check if someone was outside passing, because you could be seen.
There were stains at the ottomans of the living room, that seemed to be of a very specific type.
For breakfast, there was only one table, and you had to sit next to the other guests, along with the hostess.
And finally, the hostess was annoying, never leaving us alone while in the same space with her. She was very intrusive, acting like the good hostess, but she was asking people things like how much money do they make, or constantly making assumptions about your personality.
ex: there was music playing in the background, she said how much she likes it, and then said, "but you probably don't like it", trying to label you. Imagine this in every interaction.
On our final morning, we were pissed off about not having the space to enjoy breakfast with some peace and quiet, and left without having any, because she wouldn't leave.
Cherry on top, when we were leaving, she insisted to stay, and when we refused, she looked at me and said, "you didn't have a good time, did you?", while making comments to my partner that she has to be "the sunshine of the house".
I find it outrageous that you have to pay more than 100€ per night, and have to deal with all of the above.

Amazing getaway!

We stayed for 2 nights, a family of 5 persons. Booked 2 rooms on the top floor. The rooms were clean and cozy, we couldn't ask for more. Each room has a small balcony with beautiful view. The host Mrs. Rodopy was super nice and very helpful.
The breakfast was tatsy and fresh.
The hotel is very close to many restaurants and cafés. I strongly recommend this hotel, we will definitely come back.
