Great place!

Great place, quite and peaceful! Amazing breakfast and food! It's a must visit jewel!
Excellent place, owners and rooms. We are returning every year,since 4 years ago, and we are waiting each summer to visit it again.

Another amazing experience

First days in operation after a tough autumn and a heavy winter in Kazaviti and everything is working properly. Clean, fresh and hospital place. Above all the magnificent breakfast with the seal of Maria the business operator. Every time we stay there, we always think of the next visit in this beautiful hotel.

A little gem

Return visit to Maria at La Casa Rossa. The location is very peaceful with beautiful bird song. Ideal place to get away from it all. The village is about a twenty minute walk away, gets steep. Rooms here are very well presented, with constant hot water, TV and very comfortable beds and pillows. Balconies vary in size, all with nice views. Only eight or nine rooms, lovely terrace on which to enjoy breakfast, or a coffee, snack, meal (open for non residents) and there is a cosy lounge area with bar. Do eat in at least one evening - very good food. Recommend as good base for exploring Thasos by car. Definitely need transport. No wifi so a complete switch off - bliss!!

Shhhh...Don't tell anyone! A hidden gem....shhh

I have just returned from a fantastic extended weekend at La Casa Rossa and my mind and soul is still over there. I booked 4 rooms for my friends after having spent one night there last year. Unfortunately I was in a hurry and did not enjoy the place so much, so I had promised to myself to visit this lovely hotel again and...the opportunity appeared. I was a bit stressed because different people have different standards and I was the one who booked the rooms and hoped my friends liked it....well, they decided to stay for an extra night! This is how great this hotel is!
The rooms are new and they smell new, everything is of the highest quality, from the bathroom tiles to the water glasses, the towels, the sheets...and I work in a hotel so I notice details that others don't see. The service was amazing, Mrs Maria and her daughters were really nice and very professional. Everything offered was homemade, tasty and elegantly presented. Coffee was exceptional as well as the evening cocktails. We seized every opportunity for a drink at the wonderful verandah, in the morning and at night where the only noises were those of the wind and the birds. My friends congratulated me on my choice and I congratulate La Casa Rossa on their hospitality. Will go back again next year.

everything just perfect

Small family hotel in Mikro Kazaviti, Thassos. Perfect location, combining a small village in the mountain apprx 350m. high from sea level, full of green, pinetrees etc, with the beautifull beaches of Thassos island. Very comfortable and stylish room with view to the forest or to Prinos/Kavala, amazing outside sitting, well decorated living room, ideal also for winter time. Above everything nice, pleasant and warm occupiers Ms. Maria and her daughters make you feel home.
One of the top breakfast experiences we've ever had, almost everything home meade.Maria is also ready to cook fantastic lunch / dinner. Strongly recommended for anybody who loves village mountain style small hotels, while the distance to Thassos' top beaches is only 10-20 minutes drive.
