Surgically clean , lovely manager. So absolutely convenient to the plaka/city square and the vibrant , cultural town.
6 minute walk. Easy convenient parking, 12-15 minutes to the port.

Good value typically Greek accommodation
Pros:
Just two minutes from the main squares in Folegandros Chora with the shops tavernas and bars, same distance from bus station for buses to the port and Angali beach
Modern shower with nice floor and tiling but poor water pressure - very nice complimentary toiletries
Two single beds pushed together, clean linen and comfortable mattresses
Kitchen with small oven and two ring hob, fridge, kettle and plenty of pans
Outside seating on shaded yard to the reception, freestanding clothes dryers and communal washing line
Friendly host who gave us sesame biscuits on our first night
Good WiFi, plenty of power sockets, air conditioning
Cons:
Seating out on the communal yard not private
Poor water pressure in shower
No transfer service from the port, you have to catch the bus or arrange your own taxi
Close to centre of Chora so on a busy road so there will be some noise. Not many cars though
Little natural light, only one small window and the door opening onto the communal yard

at Chora's doorstep
I am not sure if these apartments were 'absorbed' by Aegeos, a 'sister' property, but they were our transport from the port and i believe responsible for bookings et al. All correspondence seemed to be out of Aegeos because the on-site management/reception, and the cleaning lady, were the only visible staff and they had practically no English. I used google translate a couple of times with questions about my room and was able to be understood. I also e-mailed questions a couple of times and got an immediate response, I am assuming from the 'sister' property. Our room was bare-bones, but covered most needs and had the strongest wifi and quietest air-con we experienced in the Cyclades. The location was awesome: just past the bus stop/post office and at the start of the square which is the gateway to Chora and Kastro. The square has a dynamic view and you won't want to stand near the edge if you've had a few ouzo. There is a great place for breakfast across the street on the edge of the viewpoint plaza. seating outside or through the kitchen to a wonderful 'secret' grotto. H Pounta. The Chora has the plazas with restaurants and shops and the older Kastro is worth a wander.
We took the bus (1.8 euro) to Agari beach and spent another few euros for a water taxi to Nicholaos beach because it offered shade trees. Our Eugevny reception were kind enough to lend us a sun umbrella during our stay. It was nice to sit outside the room and the resort across the road was attractive with its flowers etc.

Really nice place to stay on budget
For couples the rooms are enough. Stayed there for 5 nights. Nice bed and comfy. A clean place with air-conditioning, a small refrigerator (not really strong) and a satisfying bathroom. It has a mini balcony with chair and a place to hang wet towels and swimsuits. Mrs Eugenia is a really kind and warm local woman and available all the time when needed. Thank you Mrs Eugenia! Definitely a place we would stay again!
