The villas enjoy excellent privacy and every comfort. Very pleasant showering outside. All have a stunning view of the sea, the port and the island of Sikinos. On a clear day you can also see Naxos, Paros and Santorini. Beautiful beaches within walking distance (Livadi, Vardia, Pountaki). Nearby taverns and markets. Relaxing and comfortable infinity pool. From here you can only hear the sound of the sea. Eugenia helpful, professional and makes you feel at home. Possible transfer to and from the port.

Unfortunately, our stay at Folegandros Villas was very disappointing.
Unfortunately, our stay at Folegandros Villas was very disappointing.
The villa we were given did not match the photos on the website. An additional upstairs room had been added since the photos were taken, significantly reducing the ceiling height and changing the layout. We were told the website had not yet been updated, which is misleading as guests book based on those photos.
On arrival, we were also placed in the wrong room category, which was lower than the one we had booked. We experienced several other issues during our stay, including a TV that didn't work, no fly screens, a coffee machine with no coffee or supplies provided, and a bathroom with no toiletries or basic amenities.
The most disappointing part was how these issues were handled. When we raised our concerns, the manager was rude, dismissive and unwilling to help. His solution was to move us into the room we had actually booked only after three nights, which was simply not acceptable.
The only positive was the young lady in the office, who was friendly, professional and genuinely tried to assist us. She deserves recognition for her excellent customer service.
I hope the owners update the website with accurate photos and descriptions and improve the way guest concerns are handled. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not stay here again.

Dilapidated and dirty accommodation - be careful before booking
Dilapidated accommodation.
Poorly cleaned.
Be careful because the beautiful photos of the pool and the view hide a poorly maintained hotel that is absolutely not worth $350 per night.

Shocking Contrast Between Ratings and Reality
I truly don’t understand how Folegandros Villas gets such glowing ratings (10 on Booking.com and 4.8 on Tripadvisor/Google). Yes, the location is beautiful but that’s where the positives end. For €300 a night we walked into a run-down, dirty two-story ‘villa’ (apartment): worn-out towels, stained cushions, spiderwebs under the sofa, a bed you literally have to jump into and a dangerously unsafe stairway. The so-called common area, with the one nespresso-type coffee machine for all 10 ‘villas,’ was dirty and neglected as well.
When we complained, the owner never even showed his face, just threw out lame excuses (‘the sink is as built…’) and showed indifference when we said we were leaving. Absolutely unacceptable, massively overpriced, and deeply disappointing. We had booked nine nights but couldn’t stand it past the second day.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
We have started our vacation in the worst possible way, the moment we stepped into the Folegandros ''villa''. The rooms' maintenance and cleanliness simply do not exist. We walked into a dirty apartment, worn-out towels, stained cushions, a bed mattress maybe from the previous century, same with the bed pillows, and a dangerous stairway without handrails, with various cables dangerously uncovered (photos attached). The air conditioning unit had never been cleaned (photos attached). The kitchen sink was molded and dirty (photos attached), and a lack of wardrobes resulted to have all our clothes being placed on the living room sofa. The common area where you can make your coffee, with the one coffee capsule machine for all 10 villas, was dirty as well.
When we complained about the above-mentioned unacceptable situation, the owner never even showed his face, just threw out lame excuses over the phone, and when we said we were leaving, he became rude, aggressive, and tried to threaten us that he would bring the police, even though we had made a down payment covering more days than the actually stayed. Absolutely unacceptable behavior, massively overpriced at 300€ per day (it's not worth more than 100€ per day, and this is thanks to the nice location, which is the only positive thing someone can mention). We had booked 15 nights, but couldn’t stand it past the fourth day (till we found another hotel).
