We stayed 5 nights in a junior suite beach front room at this beachside hotel/beach club, and enjoyed every minute. The staff was super friendly and helpful at every request.
The pool area is absolutely amazing and never crowded - it is also a beach club and we loved the vibe with the DJ. The hotel is very small, so it was very personable and felt exclusive.
The breakfast was amazing and made to order every morning - try the spinach omelette! We also had a plate of mouthwatering crisp watermelon every day… yum!
The decor was overall very lovely and beautiful.
The beach wasn’t crowded either and offered very comfy loungers or Balinese sun beds.
Very few and totally insignificant things that could have been better: I thought the sent of the toiletries were a bit too maskulin, I would have loved a few French and Italian reds on the wine list, and there was a lose socket and a few finishes that needed repair.
But other than that our stay was near perfect! We would definitely come back, and highly recommend it.

We stayed here as a couple for 6 nights; unfortunately, the hotel is right next to an open-air cinema/concert venue, so every evening it was very loud with either an action movie playing or a concert taking place.
It is also recommended to have a car if you are staying here. Heraklion is a good 20 minutes away by car. With a great many visitors during the day, the pool is unfortunately quite dirty by late afternoon (lots of hair, etc.); however, what can be highly praised is the good breakfast.

We were disappointed with our stay.
For around €250 per night, we expected a much higher standard. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness, maintenance and guest experience did not meet the standards you would expect at this price point.
We found hair and body hair in the supposedly clean bed linen, stains on the door, and the terrace was dirty. Several facilities also needed attention, including the broken outdoor towel drying rack, a damaged bathroom soap dispenser, and a loose sink tap.
The toilet seat was heavily yellowed and kept coming loose, giving a very unhygienic impression. When we mentioned it to the receptionist, we were told it was simply due to wear and tear. In our opinion, it should simply be replaced.
Another major disappointment was the atmosphere. We booked this hotel expecting a peaceful and relaxing stay, but a DJ was already playing loud music around the pool when we arrived. After checking out the following day, we stayed for a few more hours to enjoy the facilities, and the DJ was back again. It was anything but a quiet hotel. If this is intended to be a party hotel, this should be made clear before booking so guests know what to expect.

During our trip around Crete, we stayed in several other hotels that were less expensive and offered a significantly higher standard of cleanliness, maintenance and overall guest experience. Very beautiful setting but to avoid!
Disastrous experience for dining. Unfriendly staff, especially the manager! Mistake in the order... even though 2 salads were ordered, only one arrived!! It does not seem very complicated!!
