Excellent 2 wks here We stayed in rm 34.Room was clean and very spacious. Plenty of hangers,bedside lights and tables on both sides.
Plenty of hot water for showering .
Pool area and bar very clean,Plenty of comfortable sunbeds,lovely pool.Food was really good, exceptional value,greek salad €7.50,pizza €9 Great selection of cocktails and non alcoholic drinks.Fresh smoothie €5.50,amazing milkshakes €5.50 Really was a great holiday.We have booked next yr already, thank you Sotiris

Great holiday
What can I say except our stay at the Artemis apartments was truly amazing. Sotiris and his family were lovely. He arranged a Greek night at Spyros for myself and my friend which was a wonderful experience and the barbecue Sotiris put on on the sunday was great, good food and entertainment.
Our room was lovely with a patio area and our towels were changed when we asked. I would most definitely return to artemis apartments.

Artemis
I'm currently staying at the Artemis Hotel and have to say it is fantastic. The review that says they can hear building work is a lie. It is peaceful. The rooms are absolutely suitable for our needs, but on holiday you don't really spend time in the room anyway. The staff are amazing and friendly. They are always smiling and make you feel so welcome. It is great value for money. Clean and food and drink is also great value for money. I would book the Armetis again.

Not for people with mobility issues.
If you have mobility issues please think again. We requested a ground floor apartment which we got but there were two steps up to the bed. After getting up in the early hours for the bathroom and forgetting about the steps I suffered quite a nasty accident.
Steps all around the pool area which I was also weary of. Also at our time going it was like staying in a building site because of all the work going on around the apartments.

Exceptional Family Run Apartments with Outstanding Service
A huge thank you to Sotiris, Eva and Rimi for making our stay at Artemis Apartments such a memorable one.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome and nothing was ever too much trouble.
The food and drinks were all very reasonably priced and the weekly BBQ night was excellent, with delicious food, generous portions and wine included.
Gouves is a quiet, relaxed resort, with amenities spread across the area rather than concentrated in one place. Every local taverna we visited was incredibly welcoming and served delicious food. The bus service was cheap and made it easy to explore more of Crete, allowing us to make the most of our holiday with visits to Hersonissos, Stalis, Koutouloufari and Heraklion.
The team went above and beyond throughout our stay, particularly in helping my dad with his disabilities, always ensuring he was comfortable and well looked after.
A special mention must go to Eva, who was incredibly kind when my son developed sore eyes after a visit to the waterpark. She immediately helped with eye drops and continued to check on him afterwards, which was greatly appreciated and made us feel like family.
I'll certainly miss Rimi's incredible iced frappés they were, without doubt, the best I've ever had! Sotiris' fantastic poolside cocktails, especially the Swimming Pool and the San Francisco.
The only negative during our stay was one night when two guests in our block were exceptionally loud and inconsiderate from around 1:30am until 5:00am, disturbing a large proportion of guests in the surrounding rooms. This was entirely due to the behaviour of those guests and was in no way a reflection of the apartments or the family who run them. As soon as Sotiris became aware of the situation, he dealt with it promptly and professionally, which we really appreciated.
The genuine warmth, personal service and care this family shows every guest are what make Artemis Apartments so special. It's easy to understand why so many people return year after year.
My mum and dad enjoyed their stay so much that they've already booked to return.
