Excellent Hotel, Staff Amazing
Booked via JET2, arrived at 2.30pm and was allocated a room (1306), which is always a good start, thank you.
We had the Adults Only Room on the far side of the hotel, worth paying extra for as you have your own area and access to private pools.
Cleaners did a good job. Room decent size (not huge) but with balcony.
We used the buffet restaurant for breakfast a lunch but took the Al a Carte restaurants for most evenings.
You must book them at 8am via the app for the next day, all that was pretty easy. Alatsi restaurant was our favourite staff and food were fab, ate there three times.
Beach and Pool areas excellent, special mention to the Simi Beach bar guys they were fantastic and the guy in the Aperol Spritz beach bar, all friendly and helpful
Health and Safety was very good, one of the pool assistance poles broke (the ones to help you access the pool), we alerted the lifeguard, he called someone immediately, within 5 minutes the pool access point was tapped off, maintenance had arrived and removed the broken pole. Pool was back open within 10 minutes.
Plenty of facilities, tennis, crazy golf, table tennis etc. Had a massage at the Spa again very good.
A lot of hotels seem to be cutting back on staff but that certainly isn’t the case with this hotel, plenty of staff available to help from the bar and restaurant staff, the beach staff, the grounds staff, reception staff, activities staff. Would definitely return if the price was good.

Loved it!
We had a wonderful stay at Creta Maris and would absolutely recommend it. The hotel is beautiful, extremely well maintained, and what really stands out is how genuinely kind, welcoming and helpful everyone is throughout the resort.
We absolutely loved our renovated room. It was beautiful, fresh and very comfortable, and the view was simply amazing. Waking up to it every morning was such a pleasure.
A very special mention has to go to Anastasia from the beach security team. She is fantastic at her job, always attentive, professional, friendly and incredibly efficient. She really makes sure that the adults only area remains reserved for hotel guests while always doing it with a smile. She definitely deserves to be recognised!
My only constructive comment would be that the rest of the security team could perhaps follow her example a little more closely. When Anastasia isn’t there, security can sometimes feel a little too relaxed, with people from the public beach being allowed to access and use the adults only pool facilities. When you pay the supplement for this area, I think it is important that its exclusivity is properly maintained.
Speaking of the adults only section, if your budget allows, I would definitely splurge for it. For us, it was absolutely worth it and made the stay even more enjoyable.
The food deserves a special mention too. It is genuinely excellent across all the restaurants and well above what we have experienced in most all inclusive resorts. The variety, quality and overall dining experience really impressed us.
I also love the policy of not allowing drinks in the swimming pools. Please keep it! It prevents the pools from becoming a drinking area, keeps the atmosphere elegant and relaxed and makes the whole experience feel much classier.
My one little wish would be to keep the pool open slightly later, ideally until 7pm. That last hour of the afternoon is probably the most beautiful and enjoyable time to swim, especially when the heat starts to soften.
Overall, a fantastic resort with wonderful staff, excellent food, beautiful renovated rooms, amazing views and a really lovely atmosphere. We had a great stay and would very happily come back.

No shade in pools
We did a photo session with Tudor, who was very professional, and more importantly, was found friendly by our little girl and was able to take amazing pictures of her.
About the hotel, unfortunately despite having 17 pools, the 16 pools that are outdoor don’t have any shade! Not even the shallow parts that are for infants. I would not recommend this hotel only for this reason.

A wonderful stay with family and friends. Exceeded expectations.
The pictures really don’t do this place justice! Walking around feels like exploring an old Greek village.
-All staff were really helpful and friendly.
-Room was much bigger than we expected and the aircon was amazing! We had a garden room for 2 adults and a 5 year old.
-Lots of pools and always could get 3 sundress together, whether arriving at the pools at 9 or 12.
-Food was fresh, hot and delicious, different theme nights in the buffet, unfortunately we didn’t try any of the other restaurants. Lovely the smoothie and salad bars too.
Great cocktails from all bars we visited, staff were also really friendly and helpful.
-We spent the majority of the time at the water park which had a selection of food at lunch time which was quickly replenished.
-Entertainment was subtle but fine, we tended to stay near the main pool at night which had singers or people playing instruments which was great.
