Good quality-price compromise

We stayed in this hotel for three days, there were several strong points, meanwhile the Mylopotas area is a beautiful seafront area with one of the most beautiful beaches in our opinion of IOS, the room is large and very bright with a small terrace useful for spreading out the beach towels and swimsuits. Cleaning is done every morning. Weak points: the bathroom, although large, has a shower that floods enormously every time you wash and also doesn't have a window, which we don't like at all because we had to close the door in the evening due to unpleasant smells. Furthermore, breakfast is not provided, which can be easily remedied because as you proceed there is a good bakery with fresh, quality products. We strongly advise against the restaurant - bar under the Delfini del Mar hotel due to the poor quality of the raw materials and the poverty. of menu choice.

Great Hotel

This was my and my husbands 3rd trip to Ios and this time we decided to stay on Milapotas beach. We stayed at hotel Delfini and had a great experience! Margareta was so kind, as well as the sweet house keeper.
Pros : clean rooms, no smell, super market underneath, beach front, great restaurants like Salt and Nostos, a nice terrace view, great price and right beside the bus stop!
Our stay was beyond expectations and we hope to stay again in the future.

Lunch and drinks at Delfini del mar

We came here for lunch at Delfini del mar and it was magnificent. My wife had the power bowl and I had the club sandwich. Drinks and food reasonably priced and staff great. It's right on the beach and you can hire beach beds for 10 euro all day. Great little view of the bay.

Great location and lovely view!

We really enjoyed our stay in Ios at this hotel. The room we were given was fantastic, with a large balcony and a direct view of the sea, which is literally only a few feet away. The hotel also has a small number of sun-beds on the beach which are reserved exclusively for hotel guests. The hotel itself was very clean, and had really nice furnishings and decorations. There is a small shop directly below the hotel which was really useful. I think that the hotel staff also run the shop, as they were kind enough to allow us to leave our bags in there whilst we were waiting for our transfer. The only minor downside is we never saw any staff in the hotel, which made it feel a little bit impersonal. Ios beach was one of the best we had visited for sand and snorkelling, with loads of fish as soon as you get into the water. However, it is worth mentioning that we did travel during the pandemic, so the whole area was deserted. This suited us absolutely fine, but I heard from some of the staff at the restaurants that there are normally thousands of visitors during the summer months. Probably worth bearing this in mind for peak season trips.

Location, location!

My friend and I absolutely loved staying at Hotel Delfini. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the location was unsurpassed. The mini mart downstairs was handy for our snacks, water and beverages and there was a great selection of restaurants along the beachfront. The sandy beach was the nicest beach I visited on the Greek Islands. The local bus left every 15 minutes for the village and the port so it was really easy to get around from here. Being in our 50's, we were pleased that we couldn't hear any of the young ones partying at night and the bonus was that we had the beach to ourselves in the mornings! I'd definitely stay here again.
