Amazing 7-days in Cactus house at Alonissos

We had an amazing 7-day stay at Cactus House on Alonissos Island, which ticked all our boxes as a family of three with a 9-year-old child. The house was extremely comfortable, fully equipped, and located just steps from the beach. Nestled in a large olive yard, it provided perfect natural shade.
Steni Vala village, just a 5-minute walk away, is the nicest bay on the island, with several great restaurants. The area is incredibly quiet, allowing us to enjoy nature and the sea without any distractions.
Our hosts, Panos and his mum, were welcoming and attentive, ensuring our stay was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

The coziest house in Steni Vala (with the most amazing hosts!)

Oh, what a lovely place this is ! We spend 5 nights in Cactus house and it’s been absolutely delightful! The little house is amazing, so cozy and full of lovely details - the view, oh the view ! The olive trees and the small garden in front, the sea view to enjoy from the terrace, the wind, perfection! We loved spending our afternoons on the terrace and also the evenings were a bliss! The hosts were amazing: we have felt more than welcome! Panagiotis welcomed us at the port, picked us up with the car, he was so responsive and fast in helping us with everything! And Stella, his mom, what a lovely lady! We’ve spent 3 summers in Alonissos, in Steni Vala, in different accomodations but this was by far the most amazing one with the friendliest people ! I am more than sure we will come back !

Best place to relax and enjoy the sea

The best place for a relaxing holiday! The family who runs the place is super nice: they picked up at the port, when we arrived at our house the fridge was filled, we had coffee, water and everything we needed. Every single house is a jewel, with special care in small details. No noises, only the sea and a garden with olive trees. The house ist directly on the shore so no need to go to other beaches. The small gulf has perfectly clear water and it is so enjoyable to swim there. 5 min walk to the restaurants and the supermarket of Stein Vala. If you are looking for peaceful and resting holidays, that’s your place! We will definitely come back!

Excellent

This summer is the 5th year that we have spent our holidays at the Flower Houses in Steni Vala in Alonissos. We return because it is so lovely there - peace and tranquility, lovely accommodation which is spotlessly clean. The hosts couldn’t be kinder and more hospitable. Beach in front of the houses and pretty gardens all around. We would highly recommend to anyone, but always want to find available accommodation there for ourselves!!!

Excellent stay at the Flower Houses!

We had the best experience during our stay at the Flower Houses. The house was super clean and cozy. The location is amazing, quiet, and beautiful! The owners are extremely helpful and friendly! Definitely recommend it!
