Magic New Year at Meteora!

New Year in Kalambaka!
We started a group of 9 people from 31/12 to 04/01 and stayed at the hotel. From our arrival we realized that the hotel was full but was not visible at all because the check-in took us only 5 minutes! Many thanks to the children of the reception for the immediate service! We got our rooms all close to each other as they were 5 double. On the first day of breakfast the hot meals were filled as quickly as they were empty and we were impressed by the staff always smiling and always present to fill the bowl or empty the table from the used dishes. Very good and indoor pool with hydromassage and sauna and a gym with an extra space to sit someone who does not want to enter the pool. Overall very good experience that of course helped the enchanting location but above all the amazing staff! A big bravo to the ladies of cleanliness as our rooms were every day paved and clean!! To say of course that the excellent experience started during the booking process by providing us with all the information we requested. A wonderful experience! We must have found our home in Meteora.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Divani Meteora while we were in the area exploring the famous monasteries and convents of Meteora.
The hotel is very clean and the staff are exceptionally kind and welcoming. We traveled with our 8 year old daughter and they even gave her a welcome gift of drawing pencils and a coloring book which I thought was an unexpected and very thoughtful touch.
The Divani is walking distance to the center of Kalabaka town where we ate several meals during our stay in the area. We made use of the gym and indoor pool which was a nice treat for my daughter. (It was a little chilly and windy to use the beautiful outdoor pool). There is ample parking if you are on a driving trip as we were. And the included breakfast spread kept us going on several long days of exploring.
I highly recommend the Divani to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable stay in the Meteora area

Hotel frozen at 80s

The hotel seems to be frozen at 80s. More like a 2-3 star hotel. Considering the area it is really hard to understand why the hotel did not gone through any renovation. They can build a very nice boutique hotel instead, but this time please don’t forget to build rooms at least facing towards the mountains:)

Picturesque location, decent rooms

One if the nicer hotels in Kalambaka town besides Meteora rocks.
Nice views of hills from the rooms. Rooms are decent and fairly clean. Nice street full of shops and restaurants nearby. One of the Monastery can be seen from the hotel ok the top. Decent breakfast and convenient location. Pleasant stay.
