All you need
We stayed 5 nights here, September 2020.
Our room has a amazing view of the sea and a beautifull sunset !!
The breakfast was very rich :
omelete,salad,panini,coffee and also bread with butter and marmelade.
There is aircondition for the summer wardrobe , kitchen to cook if you want.
The stuff here is very friendly and helped us on everything we needed.
i won't say more, just thank you !!

Excelent place to enjoy great view and sea
Had 3 hollidays here and could only recommend the hotel if you look for a quiet clean stay close to the free access sea. The owners family is always present and helpfull. Rooms clean and air conditioning working well. For sure would come here again.

Great place to stay!
I really enjoyed time spent in Hotel Paraktio. Nice place to stay for a relaxing holiday time. The owners are very nice and friendly, so I felt like am staying at friends... :) The rooms are well equipped and have all the things you need for cooking. The rooms are newly renovated and the beds with its mattresses are very relaxing. all rooms have really nice balcony with table and sea view. Everything is clean and I felt very welcome staying here.
Hotel is located on the hill really close to the city center with plenty of good restaurants, cafes and shops. Also, the nearest beach is right across the street :)
Very suitable for family with kids.

1st time in Greece & good find
Really great find in Nea Kallikrateia. For very reasonable price you get a lot - big, clean appartment, with kitchen, private bathroom and large balcony with view to the ocean (which is less than 50 m away).
Whole hotel is a very nice complex, with garden, trees and flowers, big reception with terrace where you can comfortably sit in a shade and watch the ocean.
The hotel is family run (2 brothers and 1 sister), and they are all extremely nice people; located on a small cliff, so the view of the sea with mountains on the other side is even better, and there are stairs under which is already beach with bar, literally 50 m from the hotel entrance.
Thre are cca 50 umbrellas and 100 deckchairs next to the bar (the umbrellas are big enough to cover shade for 2 deckchairs), which are free to use for the whole day if you buy 1 drink per person (some coffee is enough, you dont need to buy 10 EUR cocktail). And they have 40% discount for those who stay in Paraktio hotel - so 1 excellent frappe with 0.5 l bottled water is 2.5 EUR. There is a waiter coming and asking the newcomers what you want.
Sounds great, right? So now lets get to the rest of the stuff, that might by obstacles for someone:
- they clean the rooms cca twice a week (at least from our experience), not each day
- there isnt any restaurant as part of the hotel, but the reception is open whole day till midnight and you can get a coffee, a beer, etc. over there
- its 20 minutes walk to the city center from there (not 10 as advertised), and there isnt really anything conveniently close to the hotel like shop or restaurant, or bus stop, except for the beach with bar
- the beach next to the hotel is small (cca 5 meters of sand) and there are rocks in the water and more importantly sea urchins (once you step on one you can bet you will spent at least 1 afternoon in pain picking your feet to get it out), so its not good for either swimming or just relaxing in the water; so if you want to go to sea, you should really walk these 20 minutes to get to center where the beach is big and water ock-free and without sea urchins.
In overall the place is great value for the money, but if I am in Nea Kallikratia ever again, I would probably book something in the city centre, even though the price would be higher, room smaller and kitchen-free, because in the end, you are there for the sea, and you want to spend as much time on the beach as possible.

Firstly i would like thank you very much for yours choice that you prefered us for yours holiday and then for yours detailed describe about our company . Yes you have all wright at the point that we are a company as a famillybussiness and we would like to offer a calm place ,away from noise of towhn also surrounded of green and blue enviroment , the long gardens and close sea view and finaly economy holidays . i read yours comments and really appreciate it even you miss some info
1st . if someone who do not like walk 20 minutes to the towhn could have other choice to go to the center of the city by bus from the second one road from the sea road there is a bus station and the distance from us is 100-150m bus pass per 40 minutes , for more info about bus routes in halkidiki , please visit KTEL.GR , we are sorry if we did not reported that to you also by a free call from reception pick up a taxi at the cost 5-6 e about to the city .
2nd . if someone like to have breakfast or any meals ,
could have breakfast at the suitable part place of reception, as you also reported at the shop there offer some coffes - refreshments - alcoholl - snack - and breakfast at cost 5e per person. For the rest meals lunch or dinner we have partners companys as catering who they offer to you what you realy would like choose from the flayer menu vegeterian (2.5e portion ) meat (3.5e portion ) which we present at the table info , on other else we provide the kithen with the suitable equipment at the studios rooms so anyone could cook whenever and whatever want .
Actually eccept the beach bar Sea Through we do not have any other shop close to us that is true But we always propose to our clients for their easy shopping to assist them free of any charge for their transferance if they do not have car moving to the super market LIDL which distance is 800m
3rd. The sea area close to our Hotel distingueshed on 2 option/parts
at the left side and the right side of the first stairs , when you prefer LEFT as you going dowhn there you will see the rocks - wild nature - even outside there is sand at the beach . Unfortunatly when is someone swimming there could find and touch sea urchins specially when is windy - waves the water become not so clean to check what there is under water even bring the urchins close to the beach .
On other side , RIGHT there the beach is sandy and easy you could pass your time as many people like to do .
Finally i would like thank you again for the change by yours coment to remind you and inform the rest people who maybe intrested visit us first time or visit us again ......

Vacanza con gli amici é famiglia
Sono veramente contenta di ritornare in questo posto. Gestione come al solito, buonissima. Molto esigente con gli ospiti. Pulizia delle stanze buona. Con il rinnovo delle stanze, finestre, porte sono riusciti a risolvere il problema del rumore dal esterno. Raccomando assolutamente!
