Getaway and what a choice

Ok so the plan was a cheap 4/5 night getaway... after a few days exhausting the net for the best deals, reckon we come pretty close with Hotel Palatnista....
1 hour transfer by coach from the airport, that took us to a hotel right by the sea.. 2 min walk to it's own private beach, plenty of sunbeds, such a lovely location. The hotel looks feels and creates a very classy feel when there.. clean spacious and facilities galore. The room we gad 527 was fantastic just no issues , spacious , great shower , comfy bed, aircon was a godsend, just a little noisy.. and in a quiet part of the complex, ground floor, loved it.
The pools were fantastic clean well maintained, not cold, not hot thankfully. Plenty of sunbeds , you are not welcome to put towels on beds before brekkie, all very civil, as it should be...
The staff from the front desk, to the restaurant staff, to the room maids, a credit to the hotel and themselves, very grateful was we for their efforts, zero complaints...
Finally the food , got to say plenty of and tasted great... only small gripe was not loads of options, some will say there was plenty, but for me I've seen more options daily, but it definitely didnt impact my meal times, the family had no complaints at all.. would I return big phat yes...
Thankyou once again..

Amazing hotel!

What an amazing place to stay! Spotless rooms, grounds and pools with excellent food and friendly staff. The place is faultless. Genuinely one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. It’s good value and the quality of the food is excellent. Entertainment is good with kids activities and good quality evening shows. It’s located about a 25 min walk from Kos. Some excellent tavernas nearby and close to the beach. The beach is rocky, but the sea was lovely and warm to swim in. We hired a scooter for the day from next door for £20,including helmet. Great to explore the island. Kos old town is lovely and charming. The whole place has a relaxed and friendly vibe….won’t be long before we make a return trip.

Relaxing in style.

Arrived late and were given a beautiful plate of food, as we'd missed the dinner time. Lovely touch we were very impressed. Hotel staff really welcoming we were escorted to our room and given all the information we needed. The hotel was very clean, lovely grounds, brilliant pool and good entertainment. All the staff were smiling and so warm and helpful very friendly feel to the whole place. Amazing food too highly.

Lovely Hotel very clean perfect place if you want to relax.

We have Just returned from having a lovely 10 days, Every part of the Hotel was Spotless the beds where the best we have ever slept in.
The Entertainment wasn’t the best but that could be a personal choice.
Never stayed at a hotel where we had the same sun beds every day no matter what time we went down.
We never had to wait for a lift.
The Restaurant we never had to wait for a table the food was cool at times but very nice. I do want to mention the restaurant staff NOTHING was to much trouble, there are two People I want to mention that is the Manager of the waiters and there staff I didn’t get her name she was so helpful and very friendly and Also a Waiter who’s name was THANOS on our first Visit he shown us to a table introduced himself shown us where we needed to go for our Food and Coffees and had to order a Tea, He greeted us ever time we sat down he made us feel special every day when we entered the restaurant a credit to the hotel.
Slight problem getting water there is only one place in the Afternoon where we can purchase bottled water that was at the far end of the pool in the out door restaurant / Bar area.
You could not purchase water or any type of drink from the small shop in the Hotel.
What did spoil our perfect stay was when we checked out at the reception we paid our bar bill etc, the receptionist then said we haven’t paid our Room Tax which was 10 euros per night we told her we had paid she then became quite rude and sarcastic and said another Five times we had not paid and no matter how many times we told her she didn’t believe us and asked for a receipt then suddenly she found we had paid and blamed for the misunderstanding and not herself.
She never apologised plus she could see my Wife was upset and she knew my Wife had medical problems too.
Unfortunately I cannot remember her name she was wearing a different uniform.

Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time in Kos at the Platanista Hotel. We thought the price was very reasonable for such a beautiful 4 star hotel, and we couldn’t fault our stay.
The food was absolutely stunning throughout the day, with a great choice available and a different evening menu every night, so there was always plenty to choose from.
A special thank you to our TUI rep for booking the Olympus 2 Restaurant as part of the Zia at Night experience. We were lucky enough to have a balcony table with an amazing view, watching the sunset while enjoying our meal. It really was a highlight of the holiday.
We’d also highly recommend hiring bikes during your stay. The journey from the hotel into Kos Old Town is a lovely, steady 15 minute ride, and it’s so convenient not having to wait around for taxis.
Overall, we had a brilliant holiday and would highly recommend the Platanista Hotel and TUI. We’d definitely return!
