Nice little hotel
Check in was great John on reception was very informative and super friendly
Room was okay It didn’t give me the wow factor and I didn’t really care for the open plan shower but it was very clean and the maids cleaned the room every day spotlessly
We had a superior double room with terrace and the terrace was lovely with 2 chairs table and a sofa area (room 140)
Sunbeds were great as they had large padded covers not the thin flimsy ones like I’ve found even at 5* hotels Some of the beds were wooden ones so very sturdy
I always managed to get a bed but I was always out for 8.30am some people coming later struggled to find a bed as you always get those who lay down towels and you don’t see them for hours
Food was great but it was disappointing no chips at the evening meal I’m not a fussy eater but eat chips with everything so I was a bit gutted lol
Breakfast was fabulous
Drinks were okay I personally found them not very strong But the red wine I drank in an evening was nice
Big shout out to NIKOS at the pool bar! That man is so friendly and such a great guy He knew me as 2 beers and a pink lady
Would I recommend this hotel YES
Would I return NO
Although the hotel is spotless and beautiful I just found it to quiet I would have liked a bit of music around the pool in the day. I did like the fact that it was chilled but just too quiet for me at times unfortunately

Spotlessly clean hotel
The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are incredibly helpful and provide excellent customer service,.the buffet food had a very good.selectoon formtje 6 nights we were here. It's a short 5-6 mins walk to kalamaki beach where the Caretta Caretta turtles nest, and an even shorter walk to the main street where there is a huge choice of bars shops and restaurants. You can also get the bus to Zante town for e2.20pp. great location for us, Airport runway is very close so you do get some plane noise at times of the day but this didnt bother us there is also an airport cafe where you can watch them land overhead. The beach is sandy. The pools were very clean all beds had parasols. We had the split level suite which was very spacious a s a lovely pool view. Overall a fabulous hotel and holiday, the staff all made it extra special with their welcoming smiles and great service.

Family holiday - older kids
Two weeks family August holidays .
Very clean and well laid out Quiet hotel with a nice pool. 10 mins slow walk to beach and 5 mins walk to Kalamaki strip .Staff are excellent from receptionists (john being great to chat to with useful local knowledge), Helena in restaurant and Nikos in the lunch bar and the evening bar Chap making cocktails. Cleaners do a great job on daily basis .
We ate out a bit to vary it. Breakfast is good and food always easy to order in the daytime snack bar . Evening buffet had some good theme nights . Could do with more four seater tables . Suggest going at 8pm after the 7pm opening rush . Deserts not always replenished .Bit more variety in fresh fruit at breakfast.
You have the opportunity to book your restaurant ala carte meal in the evening where you have a choice of 4 courses . Make sure you do as it’s good .
Had two rooms on third floor with balconies over pool - no noise at night .comfy beds .safe with key , rather than code .fridge in room and three small supermarkets very close with a smaller one literally outside- good for frozen yoghurts and drinks for your fridge .
Drinks wise, it’s all non brands - good choice of cocktails . Beer is very light and not as good as Mythos/A, but ok. Water refills are at the bars and restaurants to top up bottle. You have to pay for water bottles but very cheap or get them from shop .
Entertainment ( we knew not much ) is live outside music three times a week . Could do with perhaps some other things on just to change it up . Gym very small .
Reception accommodated us on last day with room extension and courtesy room ( thanks to lady on reception- sorry did not get your name ).
Some folk are still reserving loungers before the 830 am ( not just the brits!) but really there are plenty still , so would try and not get worried about that .two pools with two hot tubs .nice shady areas also . Relaxed pool atmosphere.
The planes are close and regular but strangely don’t impact on your stay , cannot really hear them from room and quite interesting in an odd way . Not a negative in our opinion and really short transfers - big benefit.
Buy an umbrella parasol for beach but plenty of shared balls for pool so save your money .
Local bars near by that feature sport ( black pearl and Why not ) and bingo / quiz at Why not ( we won both - 90 euros !). Both friendly , no rowdies and plenty of families .
Eating out plenty of choice . Paolo’s ( family owned , nice food and pace), The Olive Tree or further but great sunset views ( worth the taxi ) Target Tavern .
For excursions we did the day Tui Jeep tour - Great to see whole island , top of mountains and sea trip ( swimming in blue caves was good ). A bit pricy but good driver ( Tasios). Turtle tour was also good with more swimming near Keri. Take the fun train to old town , only 5 mins away . Leganes is a few miles away but not a place we wanted to trip to .

Mielle-feuille !!!
Wow.... not much more to really say !
Just returned our pool towels for the holidays end.... to quote John on reception "really, already ?!?"
What a lovely 9 days. We only booked this hotel as my wife liked the red parasols in the pictures ( and the good reviews ) and what a find.
Lovely hotel, lovely staff throughout, and the food ( ignore the not hot enough moaners ) was some of the best we have had. We love mediterranean style cuisine and salads so we were in food heaven. And the desserts that always look good but always disappoint.... they didnt this time. Tasted as good if not better than they look. And as for the mielle-feuille.....
We never left the hotel to eat as we didnt need to as it was that good. We did have a 5 minute walk to the Kalamaki Strip but its not for us.... we like to have our evening meal and then just finish with a glass of wine and a coffee. And this brings me to the only negative about the place.... the restaurant closes at 9pm and we just felt on a couple of occasions we were rushed out the dining room so staff could tidy up. I have a thing about being the last to leave a restaurant and we often felt guilty and pressured into hurrying out the door in an evening. Last evening meal tonight so we shall see !!
But.......Thankyou Bitzaro Grande for a chilled, relaxing, amazing time. We are sorry to be going home tomorrow !!

Brilliant hotel
The hotel is very good. It was always spotless. The food at breakfast was excellent with all the choices you could ask for.The evening meals were also excellent with plenty of choices. Another great thing about the hotel was there are signs up saying towels cannot be put on the sun beds around the pool until 8.30. And in general people adhered to the rule. The room we had was 404 which was a room with an upstairs bedroom. This was very much worth the extra money. We had a very slight maintenance problem so I saw the very friendly and helpful reception chap and within 5 minutes a maintenance man turned up and sorted the problem very quickly. I think his name was yannis. It will definitely be my choice of hotel if I return to zante.
