I would stay here again...
The hotel Lefkadi is in a great location with wonderful view of the ocean. They have a restaurant over looking the bay that is spectacular. The rooms are small but clean - basic living- nothing special. Shower is micro sized. The staff/owners are nice and helpful, though they don't speak much English - if that is important. Breakfast is just okay, same thing every day. Meals in the restaurant are very good. Price is very affordable. All that said, the hotel is not easy to find if you are coming for the first time. Interestingly, there is no sign on the hotel. No way to tell it is much more than a restaurant. If I had not stayed in Lefkadi before, I would have not known it was a hotel. Seriously. Why not have a sign? Other than that, it's a gem.

HOMOPHOVIC ATTACK AT THE Hotel Lefkadi (hotel-lefkadi.gr)
I have been GM Hotelier in 5 Stars Hotels for a Decade, I Know How to Behave, My Rights And my Obligations. The following events ( I was the Victim of the Homophobic Insults Bullying and Threats ) LEFT ME SPEECHLESS
I have not experienced Homophobia to such a Degree in my Life. The Owners-Hoteliers were Extremely rude homophobes with no professional conscience and social skills. Culminating in 16/08/2024 where I suffered verbal violence with homophobic insults bullying and threats, because of my friends small dog, which dog has been repeatedly admitted to the premises. But from the first day the TARGET was me (I have a doggie too) At 16/08/20240 at 8:00 in the morning I received a very rude phone call from the reception with insults, so i went down to find out what has happened!!! After they called me names and threatened me, we were evicted from the hotel and asked to pay, which we did. Only the 2nd day they told me that they don't accept dogs!!!! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.NOTE THAT I’M A PERSON WITH CERTIFIED SEVERE DISABILITY OF 70% I CARRY PACEMAKER –DEFIBRILLATOR No human or animal deserves such a horrible behaviour. Totally unprofessional uneducated haters

I have been for a decade Manager in 5 Star Hotels, I know how to behave, my rights and also my obligations. The following events (with ultimate purpose I have) have left me awake.
I have never lived Homophobia to such a degree in my life, Extremely rude homophobes without a trace of professional conscience and social skill. The culmination was on 16/08/2024 when she suffered verbal violence with insulting trumpeting and threats, due to the little dog (my friend) who had repeatedly been accepted in the place, who left his room and passed into a room next door. But from the first day the OBJECTIVE I was (I have a puppy too) on 16/08/2024 at 08:00 in the morning I received a call from the reception with insults, I came down to ask what happened!!! And after they found me and threatened, they chased us out of the hotel and asked us to pay,which happened.‘‘Because they had a problem with the dog they shouldn’t accept us,’which they told me the next day, that they don’t accept dogs!Note that I’M A PERSON WITH A CERTIFICATED SERIOUS INFERENCE IN 70% ,I BRING A STEP-INFERENCE.I DO NOT recommend it to anyone. And when you only make Reservations by email to have a conversation receipt, the letters remain.

crap!!!
Regarding cleanliness in the rooms, it is inadequate, the toilet is not cleaned, the shower has 4 days to clean it, the bathroom is full of ants!! The rooms are inadequate.
No complaints except that they didn't bother me at the reception, there was a blonde girl who was rude and sulking all the time, the girls don't throw medicine to make the ants go away, they climb on top of us!! Mercy who

Tragic staff, tragic place, no hot water in the morning, rude reception, cats eating from dirty plates in the hotel... a nightmare.

This resort is ideal for retired people and families but very little English is spoken and is used mainly by Greeks. The hotel is in need of a major refurbishment but it is clean and tidy. The staff did not smile or make you feel welcome which may be due to languauge problems. Only had breakfast on first day which was quite awful. Boiled egg, piece of cheese & ham, bread and coffee - 5 euros!!Didn't eat there again in my 10 day stay. I spent most days in Chalkida which I would highly recommend as a resort with excellent restaurants and good hotels.
