Wonderful hosts made us feel part of the family

Our hosts could not have been more kind and helpful. Really made us feel at home and part of the family. We were collected from the port and waved off at the end, Beautiful part of town with gorgeous views, comfortable room with air con included.

You might want to give this one a miss

Our stay here was a bit of a shock - rather like going back 45-50 years. Room was small, dingy and dark and not exactly clean. The electrics were not to be trusted - one of the light switches was taped over. There was a small two ringed cooker in the kitchen which might have been functional in the '70's but wasn't worth the risk, even though there was no kettle to heat water. The fridge seemed to have a layer of greenish mold where the salad draw shelf was. Shower and toilet were joined at the hip. To cap it all we were charged 60 euro a night, which was probably 50 euros a night too much.

Old and remedied furnishings, owner very clever that makes the friend, non-existent wi-fi (maybe it has the same date as the furniture...).
Narrow room with few sockets at the top and to make a coffee the kettle you have to hold it in your hand as there is no support and the wires are short.
You save the location but the owner should spend a little on maintenance since the place is always full.
You can definitely find better.
We didn't remember such a condition from the trip to Milos in 1994...

Go somewhere else

There is definitely no flat screen tv. we had an old black and white one in our room. No kitchen facilities. Wardrobe door hanging off. Very old and tired furniture in very small rooms. Room and facilities do not match the description. Stay somewhere else

Lovely , warm welcome but accomodation is a bit tired

Marina, the owner is lovely, very kind and helpful but the accomodation is very, very tired and dates back from perhaps the late 1980's! However it is clean, but super basic - it's directly on the port so can be a little noisy, although lipsi is generally quite a quiet island, so not a big issue. This was the only available accomodation so we had to stay here - however, if i was to return to Lipsi I would stay elsewhere. It's probably ok if you're on a budget and young, so you're not expecting any luxuries!!
