Perfect in every way.....

This is the most beautiful place . The room , the staff , the beach bar, food the beach.
We had the most wonderful holiday ever.... we can't wait to come back to Paradise. Thank you for everything x

Paradise on Earth

Can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this great place. Apartment was great with fantastic sea views, we had breakfast every morning at Hemingways the little bar/ restaurant attached and owned by them. I will do a separate review for that. Although the kitchen and facilities are brilliant in the apartment we ate out every day as there are lots of wonderful bars and restaurants nearby., and you are 100 yards if that from the beach. Got free sun beds and umbrella and beach towels. The maid cleaned up every morning and brought fresh towels, she was lovely and friendly. Can’t not recommend this place enough. Wonderful.

A lovely base

I stayed here for a week while exploring Kefalonia. The “hotel” is essentially 10 studio apartments, some of which have a sea view from the balcony. Mine didn’t - but even then, from the sitting area outside the room you could see the sea and the typical Mediterranean flora. There is no reception as such, the adjacent Hemingway bar acts as the reception. Max met me there and gave me the keys. The rooms are large, and the kitchen area and lounge are more than adequate, considering you’ll be outside most of the time. The bathroom was a little dated, but functional.
From the room, it’s a 2 minute walk to the beach, where you can get sunbeds and umbrellas. Lourdas beach is a blue flag beach, it’s clean, shallow and not so populated (at least, not in September!). The beach has fine pebbles so you don’t get terribly sandy feet walking back from the beach. Max (not the same one from the bar!) who looks after the area, will also get you drinks if you ask him.
Hemingway beach provide breakfasts, meals and drinks, and there are nearby restaurants and shops as well.
I had an amazing time here, and special thanks to the 2 Max’s who made it so special!

stayed here for 10 days in late august. nice modern and clean apartment with regular cleaning and friendly staff. there is a great beachside bar called Hemmingway's too, which had the best food with great portions along the beach front in Lourdas.

Great location and friendly staff, one min walk to beach acomfy beds. The room needs more steogar butvthat was the only down side
