Therapeutic paradise

We visited with our friends who had stayed last year. We were in maisonette 7 and loved it. It’s part of a small square, just as you enter the grounds. Such a beautifully kept property and run by the most lovely family and their hard working colleagues. The grounds are kept tidy but not manicured within an inch of its life. Beautiful flowers, trees and shaded areas. Everyone works so hard here. Breakfasts are fresh and delicious. Food throughout the day equally yummy. The pool area is great to relax around. Thank you to Despina, Effy and John who dealt with our bookikg, and your fabulous team. We love you.
Till next time.

Wonderful relaxing stay at Efrosini Village

Have stayed in Katelios before but not at these apartments. Booked them after reading positive reviews on TA.
We stayed in Room 11 which is at the back of the village and was perfect for us. It was beautifully furnished and had a massive bathroom with shower cubicle which was great. The maids visited daily and sheets and towels were changed regularly. Pool towels were also provided which was a bonus and the holiday included the cost of aircon - which was a pleasant first for us!
Despina and her family are lovely and they work so hard in ensuring that all guests have a good time.
The pool area is lovely with plenty of sun beds and areas for relaxing as well as a great pool bar that serves lovely food.
There is a bit of a walk to the beach area for restaurants ( about 15 mins) which can be a bit daunting in the heat but there are a couple of restaurants nearby if you don’t want the daily walk. There is a mini market at the top of the drive leading to the Village which is ideal and a car rental place (Venus) which offered a good deal on cars. We hired one to get out and about which is a ‘must’ if you want to explore this lovely island.
All in all we had a wonderful, relaxing break and I would definitely return to this accommodation if I visited again.

Just wow!

What an absolute gem of a place. Wonderful family run apartments.
We had a one bed which was huge, on two floors. Everything is spotless and the pool and bar area were lovely. Food and drinks were exceptional and the family that run it cannot do enough. 10 minute walk to the seafront village where there are about 15 lovely tavernas, all great food and good prices and a little cafe/bakery just around the corner. Nice little safe beach too. Everyone we met at the hotel were repeat customers and all so friendly. Very safe for kids. Sunbeds aplenty at all times of the day. We headed down to the pool around 9:30 every day and we were the first ones there! There are a couple of mini markets, but we ate out all the time. No entertainment as such but you really don’t need any as the place is so chilled out. They do a BBQ every Friday night which was great. No food in the evening but there are so many beachfront tavernas they don’t need to. Then back for drinks and they close when the last customer goes. The grounds are full of fruit trees and you can help yourself. They also rescue cats and there are 29 on the grounds, all happy and friendly. It’s no good for groups of young people as there’s not a lot there, but perfect for couples or families. My daughter is 14 and she loved it. Special thanks to Despina and Efi for making our stay so lovely.

Wonderful family holiday

There is nothing bad to say about Efrosini Village. I wish there was and then less people would love it and it would be easier to book! It is absolutely magical. Authentic, charming, welcoming, beautiful. Thank you again for a wonderful, wonderful holiday.

A Kefalonian gem

We had a wonderful week at Efrosini. It is a very beautiful place set amongst fruit trees, run by a welcoming and friendly family. Lovely clean and well kept rooms and the food served at the pool bar is very good with huge portions. The delightful rescue cats are an added extra. They are well cared for and friendly.
The local area is low key but has plenty of tavernas, supermarkets, and a great little bakery. The beach is a short walk away and is ideal for lunch and a swim with a great choice of really good tavernas and bars. Theres plenty to do and lots of sailing trips on offer. We will definitely return.
