Marvelous apartment and well looked after

Great apartment in Plaka just 200m from the village center with a nice terrace and a superb view straight west into the mouth of the natural harbour and of course - the perfect setting for sunsets. We stayed here in Oct 2020 for 8 nights and Oct 2022 agaim for 3 nights. The family also own the Archondula restaurant in the main square which is similarly superb.

Perfect Choice

We stayed ath the top roof room with a huge 30m2 terrace and increadible view. This doubles your joy. The room was big enough for a family with 11 years old boy. Room is comfitable with nice hommy cute furniture and kitchen is with full kitchenware. More than all I have to mention about Stavros who is 83 years old doing his best for you to enjoy your stay.

Missleading pictures, dirty, overpriced

You should be very careful if you decide to book here. You may be looking at pictures of a terrace with outstanding views. The terrace belongs to the "apartment with sea view"; we booked the "studio with side sea view" and had no view whatsoever. Once you take the spectacular view -(if you don't get it)- factor away, you will find that you're paying twice what you would pay for similar quality accommodation in Milos. On top of this the place was dirty (see pics), cleaning had only been superficial, there was even a dirty kleenex stuck between our mattress and the wall, in addition to little knots of hair here and there, the kitchenette, well.. I think pics are more eloquent then words. We were also conned into paying cash (this is hidden away somewhere on their booking account. They say they will take 30% from your card before you arrive and you should pay the rest in cash. In the end we were actually made to pay all in cash; hence the hidden charge of ATM commissions abroad, and them getting away with not paying taxes -it would definitely seem- when others do.

Beautiful studios with great views but too expensive for what it offers

Nicely furnished studios located in the picturesque village of Plaka. The rooms are nicely furnished with a stylish and modern touch. Also the views from most of the rooms are great, especially for watching the sunset.
However, the reasons for the average rating are the rather small size of the studios and the high price compared to other studios in Milos. Especially the suite is overprized for what it offers (although it's very beautiful with big balcony)! Also, the kitchen could be a bit better equipped (e.g. missing cutting board, bread knife, towels, more glasses etc.). Nevertheless, we very much enjoyed our stay in Archondoula Studios and can recommend it.

Great stay!

Stayed at one of the studios at Archondoula. Very pleased with the stay! Fresh, clean, fantastic view from the terrace (!). Great location in Plaka, with just a very short walk to the center. Parning close by if you have a car (recommended!). I can recommend this hotel, and the Owner Stavros will take good care of you
