Top hotel in Plakias

Very clean and well maintained small scale hotel. Beautiful rooms with a modern look and feel. Spacious and practical bathroom, pleasant balcony, everything is very well maintained and crunchy. The breakfast buffet was very varied, with freshly squeezed fruit juice daily. The small swimming pool is ideal for a refreshing swim. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Maria ensured a warm welcome from the first second. They also work very efficiently, while we had breakfast the room was already cleaned. We chose this hotel because of its location, which is ideal to explore southern Crete both towards Preveli, Spili, Phaistos and Matala as well as towards Loutro and Imbros. Nearby you can enjoy hiking in gorges, snorkeling in the sea as well as visiting cultural monasteries and archaeological sites, so something for everyone. In addition, Plakias and the surrounding mountain villages have some good and even very refined restaurants. The area has several nice beaches, where it was wonderful to stay.

Superb room. fully equipped to make food there.
Super welcome from MARIA. Pleasant and smiling like his colleagues.
Wide choice for breakfast. We spent 3 nights there. Located near shops and restaurants. Shops open until 9 pm ...

Best in Crete

Thanks for a fantastic stay. We have been countless times on Crete and this is definitely the best we have stayed on. Superrent, fantastic apartment, good beds and bedding, lovely breakfast with good selection and the world's most pleasant service. Definitely coming back.

Excellent throughout.

Superbly appointed and very well run and maintained. Our suite was large and modern. The hotel is fairly modest in size, which helps to keep the atmosphere and service intimate throughout the day. The Cyano is a haven during the hot summer days.
