Friendly Host

I had a fantastic stay here. The departments are situated in a quiet location, only a few minutes walk from the beach. The staff are really welcoming and friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean.I will definitely be returning at a future date.

Great location, excellent host, value for money

On arrival greeted by Stavros with a welcome ouzo and fresh fruit plate. He was a very accommo dating, friendly and informative host. Location good for all restaurants and bars but sufficiently away to be quiet and no noise. Our air conditioned studio room was at the back with a shaded terrace which was good during the week's heatwave of 37 degrees. Room cleaned with fresh towels and sheets each day which was excellent. Simple breakfast delivered to the room each morning. Free wifi too!
We had a very relaxing 12 nights and would certainly return. One of our best holidays in Crete.

Awesome place!

Really place to stay around Plakias. It's walking close to the sea but far enough to be peaceful! The owner was really nice with us. He was always very helpful and friendly. Anything we needed, he made sure to take care of it. The rooms are also great and clean. It was one of favorite place to stay in Greece. We surely recommend it to you! The wifi worked perfectly.
Also, we recommend you to go to Preveli beach if you're around. It is really worth it (one of the greatest highlight of our trip in Greece!)

Just perfect

We stayed at Emilia apartments during first half of August 2015.
In short:
- Apartments are positioned ideally, walking distance to the long and wonderful beach and to the centre of the Plakias village yet secluded.
- Apartment we stayed in was built with enough civil engineering sense - windows and doors enabling natural air circulation so no air conditioning was needed during the night (one bedroom apartment on the first floor)
- Kind lady ( I forgot her name, apologies) was bringing us breakfast to the room, there is something really hospitality defining (as opposed to large hotel industry like hospitality)
- In addition, premise host 5 to 6 apartments - adds to peacefulness of the place
As a conclusion, one of the few places I would like to visit again

Excellent quiet location

This is a perfect place to to stay in Plakias, it is just off the main high street and a few minutes walk to the beach, shops and a wide variety of restaurants. The owner of the property is delightful and organised car hire for us from Heraklion airport to Plakias. The apartment is very clean with air conditioning and we had two balconies, perfect for breakfast/evening drinks, overlooking the garden and the great scenery.
