Great bargain for a room with a view!

Service was good, rooms a bit small but tidy, but what will probably get me to this place again, was a perfect view from EVERY room! Waking up to that view, smelling the sea air, and watching the sunset from a terrace- makes this one more than just an enjoyable vacation!
...only reason this place didn't get five stars from me, was the difficult entrance to the water on the rocky beach... but one can't get it all, right!? ;)

Great place to go

A wonderful garden, very pleasant hosts, clean rooms, good WiFi signal. We stayed 7 nights in a room at the ground floor with sea view. When we opened the door in the morning is was directly in that perfect garden with palms and figs.
The beach is very close to the hotel but we preferred to go 15-20 km daily to visit other places. At 20 km are 2 amassing beach Ioanis and Kalogria beach.
The best place to eat was recommended by the kalliopi personnel and was close to the vila (3 minutes drive). The name is Oasis. In front of Oasis is also a good beach for children with sand and no stones.

Good location, clean but basic rooms

This rather reminded our party of the places we used to stay in Greece when we were a lot younger. The rooms are simply furnished and the bathroom, with its open shower which made it difficult to keep everything else from getting wet, really took us back and made us quite nostalgic for the times we used to just get off the ferry with our backpacks and start looking for rooms. The kitchenette was minimally equipped but we weren't too bothered about that as we were not planning on eating in much. However, an electric kettle would have been nice as it took a while to boil water for tea or coffee on the small electric hob. We were on the top floor on the corner and had a decent sized balcony, not overlooked, with a superb view. I'd recommend that you try for one of these four rooms (one each end on the two upper floors) if you can. Our friends joined us on our balcony for breakfast and drinks etc as theirs was smaller. The gardens below were well cared for with plenty of chairs and tables and direct access to the beech below, which is a bit stony at the nearest point but you can walk straight along to the wide main beach to your right. There are a few sunbeds and shades which appear to be for the use of residents. The villa is a little out of the village, but only a few minute's walk to the cafes and tavernas.
