Excellent
A great hotel to stay, decoration and decor in Japandi style. The hotel exudes tranquility. Staff all equally friendly. Breakfast is very rich and varied. Also the possibility to eat and drink there during the day and evening. The hotel room is nice and spacious, the bathroom is spacious and excellent shower. On the beach you can use the beach chairs. Location on the promenade making it easy to walk to the old town.

Very pleasant stay in a chic little suite hotel.
The reception was friendly and additional ironing boards were quickly organized. In the entrance area of the hotel, there is an all-day bar with snacks and a large selection of good drinks. Breakfast is also offered in buffet form here. The selection was good and changed from day to day. Unfortunately, the egg dishes were often cold and the bread selection looked a bit pale... but it tasted good when put in the toaster. In addition to pastries, fresh fruits, cereals, cheese, cold cuts, and many jams as well as yogurt and honey are offered.
Room 101 is cozily furnished, with a comfortable bed and a functional bathroom. (The TV can receive ARD & ZDF) A refrigerator and a large safe are available in the room. (Next to the hotel, there is a supermarket with very affordable drink prices and everything one might forget on a trip ) Unfortunately, there is limited storage space in the room for longer stays, and there is not really enough room for longer clothes. The room was pleasantly quiet.
The air conditioning works very well. The room has a slight sea view and a view of the small pool. Unfortunately, the view from the back is onto some large trash bins that are emptied daily. However, the balcony at the back is suitable for drying towels or other items. The room and the public areas are very well maintained, cozy, and chic. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the manager is often in sight and helpful. The room cleaning could have been a bit more thorough… without a vacuum cleaner, it is difficult to completely pick up hair or sand. Opposite the hotel is the private, well-maintained beach section with loungers and umbrellas. Beach towels are changed daily in the room, just like other towels. There is also friendly service at the beach that provides drinks or snacks. The small hotel is overall very well maintained, and we really enjoyed our stay. Along the promenade (with beautiful sunsets), one can quickly walk to the center or the harbor with many great restaurants and shops. The Wi-Fi in the room and at the beach is very good.

A fabulous hotel for a fabulous week.
Loved our week here. The room has so much usable light and storage and the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is a great size but I will come back to that. The breakfast each morning was very good and the bar area is just a great place to relax. The private beach is just across the road via a crossing and is serviced from the hotel. The staff were without exception extremely friendly and helpful, and they really seemed to be pleased we were there. This place definitely deserves no less than 5 stars, but I will make a couple of observations. The layout of our specific bathroom led to light leakage into the room at night. This could easily be addressed by fitting a blind in the small window and moving one of the doors - there is such good space to do this, so let’s get that room as dark as possible. We made some arrangements with towels, because actually it was a minor point in a great room. If all you want is a beach holiday and half a dozen good restaurants you do not need to venture more than 200 metres. However, Rethymno old town is fabulous so I recommend the 20 minute walk to visit even more bars and restaurants. If you have mobility issues or small children you will have to factor this in. This was a fabulous week and other than the minor quibble above there is absolutely nothing we would change - they really do get it right here!

Great Bar
Fantastic bar with superb sea view, brilliant staff and really good food, went nearly every day at different times and the atmosphere was great, well worth a visit just for the sea view. Beach right across the road and only a fifteen minute walk into the old town.
