Wedding anniversary with a star view

We are a couple who have preferred the suites of this hotel based on our own tastes and fortunately we fell in Beautiful, clean room, the jacuzzi outside with a wonderful view of the whole sea and the coastal road! √ The food in the restaurant of the hotel is just fantastic (gratis to everyone and the girls who served us Maria and Dora who were polite The breakfast was also buffet and you could order 2 salty dishes and a sweet. We will definitely come again. Good rest of the summer

Rethymno Gem

The Dyo suites was amazing. Having been to Crete a few times this was the first time we stayed in Rethymno. Our suite overlooked the beach we had a large balcony with a hot tub, sun lounges and a spacious room. Breakfast a the staff were amazing was a great place to sit back and relax first thing in the morning. The Beach opposite was available for guests and always greeted with a cold bottle of water. A special mention to Sophia who takes the yoga and wellness sessions. My wife loved the yoga and she was such a beautiful person.
Thanks to all the staff from the desk and restaurant. We will be back.

Pleasant surprise in the city center.

Very beautiful decoration for this charming boutique hotel in the heart of Rethymnon.
Perfect welcome and attentive staff.
You feel good there.
Breakfast, snacks, and meals are truly excellent: Quality, choice, and atmosphere.
A real pleasant surprise, especially since the prices are very competitive.
The rooms: Wow, such design.
A small downside: our room was by the road, but that's normal since it's the city center.
Beach, service, and furniture were once again perfect.
Very beautiful establishment!!!

Bottom line disappointment

We are now in the Dyo for the 4th time, so far everything has been top.
This time, unfortunately, a few criticisms.
Room with outdoor whirlpool fantastically nice, top maintained as always!!
Breakfast as always a la carte top, but very petty this time when ordering drinks, only 2 drinks incl.so a coffee and a 0.1 orange juice, the 2nd coffee we should have paid for, does not go at all in this price range, already out of principle we have not ordered any more.
This was different all these years before and much more generous, a criticism about not booking the hotel anymore.
Beach chairs (all beds and pillows) the best on the beach of Rethymnon ,but in storm a big criticism,beds brought to safety too late,so the beach today continues to be closed to hotel guests,as everything was only started to clean for tomorrow.
Here the hotel guests could have been provided at least the back row, if necessary with normal loungers like left and right at the neighboring hotels, which by the way have normal beach operations.
We then used this in the area, but actually that can not be in the sense of Dyo Suites.,because satisfied guests are not so.
TOO bad...we will reorient ourselves and not book the Dyo anymore.

Friendly, helpful staff 20 min walk to Old Town but so much liveliness around the hotel.
