Good, quiet location. Felt like at home
We spent a week in these apartments. We had a great time. The apartment was in good condition and an excellent value for money. Not luxurious, but great for our needs. It is a only few meters from the beach. A few kilometers away from Rethymno... you can even walk there along the beach (we did!). It would take a bit longer than one hour. Otherwise, you can drive and be there in a few minutes. The owners were very welcoming and did all they could to make us feel comfortable. We felt welcomed almost like if we were friends or relatives. This is not a rare feeling in Greek accommodations, specially in small towns, but this is probably the warmest welcome I have received in Greece so far. So, the place is highly recommended to relax by the sea in Crete. All was positive during our stay. If I had to point out a small negative point it would be that the apartments are hard to find. There was no address in the booking page we used (just the name of the village - Platanias). Since we saw in the map that the apartments were close to the sea, we thought we would spot it easily if we drove near the sea. However, it is not on the main road, and there is no sign to direct you to the apartments. Taxi drivers and local businesses do not know the place either. So, my advise would be to call the owners in advance and arrange for a meeting at the center of Platanias. That would save all the troubles, and make your stay an enjoyable one!

Pulizia e manutenzione ordinaria deludenti a discapito anche della sicurezza ; prese non fissate , fili scoperti in bagno...

inadeguati.
Biancheria opzionale pagata preventivamente mancante all'arrivo ;consegnata solo in tarda serata dietro ripetuti solleciti per un livello di organizzazione approssimativo.
Consigliabile la posizione , io non ci tornerò per le deludenti condizioni degli alloggi e l' inadeguatezza del servizio rispetto al prezzo pagato.
