I've stayed in many hotels around the world, and I can honestly say that Acave Santorini Suites ranks among the very best.
Tucked away in the charming traditional village of Vothonas, this hidden gem perfectly combines authentic Cycladic architecture with modern luxury. The cave suite was immaculate, beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and exceptionally quiet. Every detail—from the elegant décor to the premium amenities—showed genuine care and attention.
The private heated jacuzzi was an absolute highlight, offering the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the island. Waking up in such a peaceful setting and ending each evening under the Santorini sky created memories we'll never forget.
What truly sets Acave apart is the outstanding hospitality. The hosts go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcome, comfortable, and genuinely valued. Their kindness, professionalism, and local recommendations made our stay even more special.

Lovely place, spacious, not much around the area

Everything was nice except apparently trip.com didn't pass on our contact information to the owners. Upon arriving at the hotel, there is no reception to check in. I guess the management expects travelers to have cellular data to contact them to be told instructions the moment you arrive. Luckily my boyfriend had International data, I did not. They then gave us a code to be let inside the unit. The place is nice. They texted at 10:25pm. " what time we will check out" .. we were asleep already and then suddenly the smart TV turned on by itself at 10:50pm which woke us up. It was being paused and played. It was creepy and seemed to be controlled by someone else who has access to the smart TV. Not sure if it was to wake us up to get our attention to respond to the text message of what time are we leaving or what. Just odd. Other than that the unit is good

Pleasant stay in Santorini

Apartment near Vothonas, a small village 10 minutes from Fira in the center of the island, convenient for reaching the most strategic and extreme points of the island easily.
Our apartment called Agali was very nice, nice and clean. It featured a large living room, bathroom and bedroom with an indoor jacuzzi.
Our concern when booking was that the room would be very humid due to the jacuzzi. However, thanks to the dehumidifiers inside and the "sealing" of the glass door that led to the jacuzzi, our concern turned out to be unfounded.
The staff is very kind and helpful: they offer self check in and check out leaving the keys in a safe, as well as a cleaning service every other day.
The only 2 flaws: the wifi is very slow and at times absent, especially in the room; very narrow street and the structure is located very far from the main roads with the various services.

Amazing stay

Beautiful cave suite, in a very traditional and quiet neightborhood. The staff was lovely. We also liked our jacuzzi which was outside on the terrace and you could enjoy the view. We would visit again!
