The magic of a windmill with an Aegean view

Santorini is a beautiful place for a vacation, but spending it in a windmill like Anemoscope makes it perfect. A place full of charm, renovated and furnished with taste and with reclaimed materials that all speak to you of the island. Ideal location to reach the beaches in a short time as well as the small towns from which to enjoy the sunset or buy artisanal products. Punctual and highly appreciated were the directions and suggestions from the property.

A fairytale windmill.

Beautiful experience. The windmill is a truly original experience and is equipped with all the comforts, starting with the outdoor hot tub with a breathtaking panoramic view that alone is worth the stay, along with the solarium. Located near the town of Pyrgos, it is situated in a high spot with an excellent view and a cool climate even on these scorching days thanks to the wind. Furnished with great taste, it offers a perfectly livable space created in the base under the actual windmill and is equipped with an independent kitchen and two bathrooms. All surfaces, both internal and external, are made of masonry and are rounded. The interior spaces are spacious, and the bedroom at the top, reachable by the spiral staircase that runs along the walls, enjoys a 360° view.

Dreamlike

I spent three unforgettable days in this beautiful charming home in Greece, and what immediately strikes me is the simply extraordinary location.
The property is immersed in a landscape of rare beauty: open views of the crystal clear sea, breathtaking sunsets that dye the sky pink and orange, absolute silence interrupted only by the wind and the sound of the waves. A privileged position that gives a feeling of authentic peace and total detachment from everyday life.
The house is perfectly integrated into the surrounding environment, with an elegant and refined architecture that enhances every panoramic view. Every corner is designed to enhance natural light and views, making every moment – from breakfast to sunset – a memorable experience.
Three days was enough to completely regenerate me. An ideal place for those looking for beauty, harmony and an exclusive stay in one of the most fascinating frames of Greece.

A magnificent stay

It was my first stay in Santorini and it was a unique experience!
We slept in a beautiful historic house, very clean and well furnished so that we did not want to leave anymore!
We were greeted by Irini, who gave us useful tips to fully experience the island.

Pyrgos magic in mill

It is a masterfully renovated mill where you can be in harmony with the island. From the pool I saw priceless sunsets better than from Oia where the human crowd decreases the magic.... I will definitely return but above all I would not leave.
