Hands down one of the prime locations on the caldera with amazing views of the sea and caldera hillside. The staff are engaging and helpful. I spent a lot of time outdoors in the pool and on my balcony. Once I walked onto my balcony for my morning tea, staff brought my breakfast for me to eat as I admired the breathtaking views.
My room was pristine - no frills, but lovely Kitchener with full refrigerator/freezer and the bathroom had a very open feel with rootless stand up shower and oversized sink, sufficient for soaking clothes, if needed.
Both the window and door to the room are glass, which allow for breathtaking views of the caldera and sea even when indoors. I often kept my hinged windows open during the cool mornings to enjoy the breeze.
Located literally at the Firostefani city center, this location is prime for activity bus drop off/pick ups, as well as walking into Fira for daytime adventures and nightlife fun!!!
I happened to be in Santorini during a couple games of the 2026 World Cup of Soccer and enjoyed the electricity in the air pouring from every corridor, especially those showing the games.
Kafieris Blue is also on the Fira to Oia trail, and I am happy to say I walked a portion of the trail to neighboring Imergovili. You can't beat the sunset views from the Fira to Oia trail, and proximity to activity, while still feeling quiet and private.
I expect to stay at Kafieris Blue whenever I return. Maria and her team run day to day beautifully!

No staff to port your luggage, the electricity goes on & off some times.. so may be no coffee in the mornings, cant use hair dryer//straighteners.
The property charges €10 per person upon check in, that’s not mentioned in hotels.com’s prices so be aware when booking.
Apart from this stunning views of Caldera! If all of the above is acceptable then this is truly amazing Property to stay.

The view is fantastic!
We were here at the end of June 2025. The hotel is located in Firostefani. *It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to Fira and Imerovigli 10-15 minutes. Always with magical views.
*The apartment hotel does not look like the pictures, everything is white and fresh and with glass railings. It is very quiet at the hotel both days and evenings. The pool is fresh. The beds were slightly hard but we slept great. Housekeeping every day.
*There are several floors and sea views from all rooms. We chose the room at the bottom (18-20) because then you have your own patio with sun beds overlooking the sea, incredibly beautiful and nice when few walk past there. The other rooms higher up overlook the pool and the hotel area and then the sea. Ask to look at the rooms if possible, then choose.
* The breakfast is very basic, they bring it to the room when you ask for it.
* The owners are very nice and drive you where you want, payment at check out.
* When checking in, it can be difficult to find the hotel. Follow the street up towards Imeroviglio a short distance, just to the left you see a sign on a wall with the sign “Kafieris Blue”. Follow the stairs down and be knocked out by the view!
* There are hotels that are more luxurious, but the view is absolutely incredible! I would book this hotel again⭐️.

Stunning view
Stunning view, no obsticles to the view of the Caldera. Only a few min walking to the centre of Fira (Thira).
The rooms are clean and the beds are good.
Breakfast is a pre-set meal and ok. The staff always smiling and helpfull. Good sized pool and the water quality is excellent. Highly recommended and we will come back, 10/10.
