We had a wonderful stay at Spitia Tzitzi in Imerovigli. The location was perfect, with incredible caldera views, and we loved that it was much quieter than both Oia and Fira while still being easy to get around. Oia is just a short bus ride away, and Fira is an enjoyable 20-minute walk. We stayed in the Studio Apartment, which had everything we needed and was very comfortable throughout our stay. Breakfast was delivered to our balcony each morning between 9am and 11am, which was a lovely way to start the day. I also appreciated the extra blanket in the wardrobe..it’s a small touch, but something many hotels overlook. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and communication was excellent.
The only thing worth mentioning is that the listing gave us the impression there was a shared swimming pool on site. In fact, there isn’t a communal pool, only private hot tubs that come with certain room types. As we stayed in the Studio Apartment, we didn’t have either. It wasn’t a problem after the initial disappointment, but it’s worth knowing when choosing your room.
What the Studio Apartment does have is plenty of outdoor space to relax. Our favourite thing to do each evening was watch the sunset from the large, comfortable daybed on the upper terrace. There’s also a great little cocktail bar less than a minute’s walk away.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Spitia Tzitzi. The location, views and peaceful atmosphere made it a wonderful base for for exploring Santorini.

Incredible Holiday!

Sissy, George and the Spitia Tzitzi team are so hospitable, welcoming and they truly made our holiday special.
Sissy and George maintained regular communication via WhatsApp up until the holiday, offering recommendations and advice on dining, activities, etc. Have no fear that any questions you may want to ask them, they will sort it for you! They arranged transportation to and from the airport (50€) in advance so it was hassle free. When we arrived, we were collected by Alex, a hardworking member of staff. Who showed us where our villa was and greeted by George who showed us around. They will even book activities for you in advance if you request them.
Regarding the location, it is perfect. Imerovigli is the ideal location for Santorini, avoiding the busy towns of Oia and Fira (great for day trips, but not to stay). It has a lovely coffee shop and supermarket 1 minute away. It has multiple restaurants and bars nearby, all with idyllic views. The views in Imerovigli are perfect, with great coverage of sunset and views over the caldera.
Regarding the villa itself, it wss fantastic! We had a complimentary bottle of wine, water, coffee and other bits upon arrival. It is a traditional dome-like structure. Clean, tidy and more than enough room for any luggage etc. Air con, fan and dehumidifiers which made it pleasant and comfortable. The bed and pillows were really comfy too. The shower is very traditional and cosy. Towels provided, with an iron included too. TV had Netflix and other apps too! Housekeeping daily.
The location of the villa is absolutely ideal. We stayed in House 2 (Traditional 2-Bedroom Villa). Importantly, it is located away from the main walking path, for ultimate privacy. It is extremely quiet and peaceful.
The villa has a private jacuzzi type plunge pool (it is warm), overlooking Imerovigli and blue domes. As well as a deck next to it with sunbeds and a parasol. The views are insane!
Every evening, George would text to ask what time we wanted breakfast. And at exactly the requested time, Alex would deliver breakfast. Breakfast was typically eggs, bacon, waffles, fruit, bread, etc. Served and cooked perfectly with orange juice.
This was a memorable holiday for many reasons, but importantly I had a longstanding plan to propose to my partner there. I informed Sissy, and she went absolutely above and beyond to plan our proposal. She explained clearly how it would go whilst listening and honouring my wishes. She highlighted the perfect spot and sent a picture to give me an idea of how it would look. She arranged champagne, petals and candles to ensure it was everything my partner would've wanted. They arranged a photographer and videographer for the moment and ensured she would be hidden in plain sight. Proposing is a nerve-wracking moment and her communication up until the minute of proposal, put my mind at ease. I can never thank Sissy and George enough for ensuring it was the perfect proposal. Oh, and she said yes thankfully!
I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you to Sissy, George, Alex and everyone else at Spitia Tzitzi that made this such an extraordinary holiday. We will definitely be returning!

Outstanding.
This resort was just what we were looking for. The manager Themis was terrific. Upon arriving he explained everything about our rooms and checked in with us periodically. He brought us delicious breakfast items like waffles with fruit, juice, homemade bread and sometimes eggs in the morning.
This resort is also centrally located with awesome views of the caldera.

Perfect location. Not only was this property breathtaking, with caldera views and watching the ships come and go, the service was personal and friendly. They offered assistance with anything you needed, verbally, through text, or through an app. The breakfast was first rate, delivered to your room, and almost too beautiful to eat. We even had a sweet cat visit our balcony daily. Themis and Maria are amazing people, and you will not regret staying here.
