A Cozy Place to Stay
This is a nice and cozy Villa a few minutes walking distance from the beach, restaurants and bus stop. There was a very cute doggie, which seemed the main attraction. The yard was really nice, one could sit there and read a book, watch TV or just hang out there. It seems like the owners have good taste in terms of interior design.
The owners
The owners were a nice couple which took a good care of their guests. The transfer was included, so the husband took me from and to the airport, which is very much appreciated. The lady was very friendly, and was attentive to my vegan needs, although I was afraid that I was a bit of a difficult customer in terms of breakfast. The most important thing was the coffee, which was good. The owners have a good taste in music - from heavy metal to Greek music. I believe this is a place where you can experience a Greek party with folk dances.
The room
The room was clean, tile floor, containing the basic things like desk, chair, a place for your suitcase, sink, fridge and cupboard. The bed was comfortable, it has been a long time since I slept for more than 8 hours straight, the mattress felt good. The towels were changed every day, as well as soap, garbage was taken out every day, sheets were changed often too. There were absolutely no crawlies. I appreciated the fact they gave me Zeus, which was on top especially in that respect. There was a net above the bed, which could be used, if someone suspected insects. They said it was a small room, but it was perfect for one person. There was also a wardrobe with blankets and hangers, as well as AC, which I never used.
The balcony
Oh, the balcony! I spent a few evenings there, there was a swing and it was perfect to hang out there - drink beer or read a book, or sunbathe. There was a hammock too, which I never tried. The balcony is a romantic place all to yourself if you stay at the room on the top!
