Wouldn't stay again
There really isn't anything good I can say about these apartments.
They are very outdated and while a refurb is going on it is very slow so not many rooms have been done.
The refurb caused us to have no water for several hours one day due to works going on.
The noise of drilling went on for some time, really don't know why this work wasn't done during winter!
Both my husband and I are disabled, as were the couple in the next apartment and we found ourselves having to negotiate round scattered workers toolboxes several times on a narrow path.
We don't expect luxury in greek apartments, but we do expect clean.
The rooms are grubby. The towels are not the best so bring your own.
The shower heads are so loose and flop around so much that you have to chase the water.
For self catering apartments the kitchen area is tiny, not well equipped so preparing a meal would be difficult
The pool area has sun loungers that have definately seen better days. You have to put cushions on the loungers and some of them are in an even worse state.
The pool doesn't seem to get cleaned at all.
The floor around the pool also needs a refurb.
The snack bar is uninviting and run by Spiros who is equally unwelcoming. I wouldn't chance eating there either.
The owner is rarely here so any issues cannot be dealt with as Spiros is only responsible for the snack bar and pool.
All in all, I can't recommend valentinos and our first stay will be our last.
Roda however is beautiful and we can't wait to come back next year, to better accommodation

Basic apartments , albeit we were in a refurbished room in Block B . Location ideal for boathouse bar and brandy shop.
The pool area and sunbeds could do with an upgrade .
We stayed in Block B refurbished apartment, which were still very basic. There was no hook in the bathroom for hanging towels. The towels and bath mat were old and seen better days , very tatty. The cooking utensils , chopping board should be thrown . I wouldn’t want to use them !
Some apartments had a washing line / maiden to hang wet clothes / shorts / bikini . And some didn’t .
Couple of positives though about the room . Beds were super comfy and we had a shower screen , not a shower curtain
Also cleaners were lovely and did a good job .
We booked with Jet2 and these apartments are not to a standard I would expect from them tbh.
Excellent location
