Couldn’t ask for more!
This was our second stay at Akron Seascape in Sidari, and it definitely won’t be our last! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome.
A special mention has to go to Thanos, the manager, who is absolutely fantastic. He genuinely goes above and beyond for every guest, always stopping to ask how we’re doing, checking that we’re enjoying our stay, and making sure the food and everything else is up to standard. His friendly, approachable attitude really makes you feel valued.
The staff throughout the hotel are wonderful. Everyone is welcoming, hardworking, and always happy to help with a smile. The housekeeping team do an amazing job too – our room was cleaned every day and kept spotless with fresh towels and everything we needed.
We stayed in the twin swim-up room, and it was absolutely stunning. Having direct access to the pool was such a luxury, and the room itself was modern, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable, giving us a great night’s sleep every night.
One thing that really surprised us was the quality of the all-inclusive food. There was plenty of choice, everything was fresh, and every meal was delicious. The cocktails were also excellent – beautifully made and perfect for relaxing by the pool while taking in the incredible scenery.
The views from the hotel are simply breathtaking. Waking up to the sea every morning and watching the sunsets in the evening is something we’ll never get tired of. The location is ideal too, close enough to walk into Sidari while still being peaceful and relaxing.
Akron Seascape truly has everything you could want for a holiday: fantastic staff, beautiful rooms, delicious food and drinks, stunning views, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. It’s easy to see why we came back for a second visit, and we’re already looking forward to our third. Highly recommended!

Lovely staff, great rooms, brilliant views
Lovely spacious room, fairly clean (had worse) but not what I would call 4 star - it’s more like 3 which is fine. Staff genuinely lovely - special mention to olga and the chef! Would recommend and would come back. Bar a bit far from our room so didn’t feel like we got the usual value for all inclusive with drinks and snacks. Shop was closer!

Bad management, false advertising
Very Disappointing Stay – Not the 4-Star Holiday We Booked
We recently stayed at Corfu Akron Seascapes Resort and unfortunately our experience was nothing like the holiday that was advertised.
We booked this hotel because of the facilities and four-star rating, but several advertised features were either unavailable or very different from what we expected. There was no children’s buffet, no playground, and we were informed shortly before travelling that the à la carte restaurant would not be available.
One of our biggest concerns was that people who were not staying at the hotel appeared to have access to the pool area, toilets, showers and sunbeds. As paying guests, this meant it was difficult to find sunbeds, and we never felt comfortable leaving our belongings unattended. As for parents, with children this also made us feel uneasy about children’s safety. Anyone can wonder around.
Cleanliness was another major issue. The public toilets were often dirty, some locks didn’t work, and there were maintenance issues such as sinks coming away from the walls. Around the pool there were cigarette ends, rubbish and general debris. We asked for the area to be cleaned, but nothing was done, so we ended up cleaning around our own sunbeds ourselves.
The management was also disappointing. We witnessed a heated argument between the daytime manager and a member of staff in front of guests, which felt very unprofessional. When we raised concerns about people using the hotel facilities without being guests, we felt our complaints were not taken seriously. The interaction left us feeling uncomfortable for the rest of our stay.
The food was repetitive and below the standard we expected from a four-star all-inclusive hotel. Drinks were also disappointing, with many premium options not included.
Overall, we left feeling that the hotel did not match the description we booked through our travel company. We appreciate that hotels can change over time, but we believe guests should be given an accurate description of what they are paying for.
Sadly, this holiday did not provide the relaxing family break we had hoped for, and we would not choose to stay here again.

Disappointed second stay at Akron Seascape
This is the second time we have stayed at Akron Seascape, and unfortunately we feel there has been a noticeable decline in the overall service and experience since our previous visit. Based on our recent stay, we do not feel it currently reflects its advertised 4-star standard.
Positives:
* The pool is spotless and is clearly cleaned and checked every day.
* Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bedding provided. The housekeeper was particularly friendly, helpful and a real credit to the hotel.
* There is a main buffet restaurant and a snack bar available.
* The location is excellent, situated right next to Canal d’Amour and within easy walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants.
* The chef was very accommodating. When we asked if chicken nuggets could be made for our grandson, he happily arranged this for us.
Areas for improvement:
* The family rooms require navigating multiple flights of stairs (down one set and then up another), and the internal staircases within the rooms are very steep, which may not be suitable for families with young children or anyone with mobility issues.
* The evening buffet became very repetitive, with little variation throughout our stay.
* The all-inclusive drinks selection was very limited, with many drinks only available at an additional cost.
* Bottled water was not provided in the rooms. When the water dispensers ran out, guests were either given a small cup of water or asked to purchase bottled water. This is something we have never experienced at an all-inclusive hotel.
* Even iced coffees were charged as an extra.
* Drinks frequently ran out, and on several occasions the Fanta and Coca-Cola available were flat.
* We repeatedly found men using the women’s toilets, leaving them in a very poor state, often with no toilet paper available.
* For guests with late departures, there was nowhere to shower after checking out. Requests for a late checkout were declined, which is understandable during peak season, but a dedicated shower/changing room should be available. Instead, we were advised to use the outdoor poolside shower.
* There were not enough sunbeds, made worse by the fact that the pool appeared to be accessible to non-hotel guests.
* The à la carte restaurant has been removed, yet there has been no reduction in the holiday price or improvement elsewhere to compensate.
* Afternoon snacks were left on a table by the pool wrapped in cling film, exposed to both the heat and flies, rather than being kept in appropriate temperature-controlled serving units.
We genuinely loved Akron Seascape during our first visit and considered it the perfect holiday destination, which makes this review particularly disappointing to write. Sadly, the overall standard has declined enough that we would not choose to return. In its current form, we feel it is closer to a good 3-star hotel offering full board rather than a true all-inclusive 4-star experience.
I hope the hotel takes this feedback constructively, as it has many strengths and we would have loved to have been able to recommend it as highly as we did after our first stay.

Amazing hoilday
Location was stunning looking over beach,rooms were cleaned everyday,I had a swim up room and it was lovely, a real treat,food was fabulous and they even gave my husband Sourdough bread every morning, as he has Celiac disease,lots of variety of food everyday,and we never had a upset stomach, restaurant was spotless, bar staff were very friendly and manager even went out of he's way to make my birthday special in which I couldn't thank him enough...we injoyed our stay..Thankyou x
