Beautiful Sissi,

Fantastic family run hotel. Litsa, Maria, Paul and the family ensure top quality service and amazing food. Make sure to try LItsas special dish and cocktail. Love socialising at the bar when returning from a meal. Some lovely restaurants nearby. Rooms are spotless.

Total disappointment

1. Location: nothing to see, no beach. From the word slwm! I don't know where the people who wrote the reviews came from, that there's a gorgeous sandy beach... But it's actually a concrete slab nailed with dust. All in cigarette butts, paper and other food packaging and bipedal remnants. The posh lagoon that many holidaymakers write about is the boat dock. I.e. If you swim there, it's swimming in a pool of seawater, solariums and oils from boats.... The water is of course "clean-clear." But the boat marks are noticeable. There's nothing to see in Sissy Himself. If you're going with the kids, it's definitely the wrong way. There is no playground in the entire village and there is no entertainment except mini golf. The whole center can be reversed in 20 min. As a matter of fact, and the sea is not normal for children.
Mandry fruit can only be bought in the shop...carriage...
Although every vegetable garden grows pomegranates, Indiras, fruit cacti. There are fields with watermelons and melons... But there are no counters...
The nearest sandy beach is 6 km away. And drive only by car or taxi. A taxi costs about 15€ one way, plus on the beach for an umbrella fee of 8.5-10€...
So the budget just equals a trip to all inclusive
As for the hotel. It's not 3 stars. It's a hostel. And so, I saw hostels cleaner and more pleasant. The room was so dirty... it hadn't been cleaned for a couple of seasons. The dust on the mirror, the nightstands, the plafons, lay in such a canvas layer that it was scary to watch. But the apogee of the bathroom...
Specially booked a room with a bathtub...
It hasn't been washed since the hotel was founded. The drain is clogged with hair that is visible to the naked eye... Yellow bruises and divorces...
When asked to wash the bathroom, the landlady stated that it was not washed, and the maid after 1 I stated that I'm sorry, the whole floor is occupied. I can't clean everything...
Anyway, after listening to the attacks against me, I decided not to waste my nerves. I bought detergent and washed my own bathtub, because you could only get into it in shoes. And here you go, the cherry on the cake. Bath, that is. But there's no cork to close the drains. That's an accessory I begged for a day, too. To which everyone bulged their eyes in wonder, saying why else would I need a cork...
Food. Uniform breakfasts. It's delicious Greek yogurt, but the dishes it's served in discourage anyone from trying it. T k. These jars are about the same size as the bathroom...
You can only drink black coffee. Cappuccinos, lattes and other drinks from the machine are the kind of water that not all roadside cafes have...separate attention deserves tap water, directly feel free to pour warm tap water and throw ice for a jug effect. Drinks... even a child, refused to drink that powdered messi. The '90s yuppie was probably more acceptable than the lemonade served.
Of course, young hotel hostesses are more friendly and sympathetic. But their smiles, alas, do not make the rooms cleaner and the kitchen is also not worth the money paid.
All in all, it would be possible to survive the hotel trench if at least there was a normal beach. Something people go to the island for. I certainly don't recommend Sissy himself or this hotel.

Simply the best.

Another fantastic stay at the Alexandros Hotel sissi.
The hotel is spotlessly cleaned daily, bedrooms, public spaces etc...
The food is delicious large portions! The family are friendly and accommodating,
There are a LOT of stairs in the hotel and NO lift so you might struggle if you have walking difficulties, pushchairs etc....it doesn't matter what floor your on you will still
have to deal with the stairs.
Thank you to the whole family at the Alexandros Hotel for making my stay a wonderful experience as always.
