Sevi, Ervis, and Christian
Sevi, Ervis, and Christian are simply exceptional, always available, attentive, courteous, and smiling despite the hard work. The common areas need more care, and the food should also improve; perhaps fewer dishes, but better prepared. Please have an Italian chef do the cooking.

Avoid this hotel
If you are looking for a good hotel in Crete, AVOID this one!
A 6-day stay, but catastrophic.
We arrived at the hotel around noon, after having traveled since 5:00 AM, and we learned that check-in is from 3:00 PM. Knowing that we had inquired before leaving and that we were told the room would be ready upon our arrival. So the receptionist offered to let us leave our suitcases in a room, and that was it. Not even a possibility to change or go enjoy the pool, so already half a day wasted. She told us to come back around 2:00 PM to have a "VIP" check-in, so we came back for 2:15 PM, and we were in the room at 2:50 PM. How can I tell you that we spent more time waiting than anything else.
The second night, we discovered that we had cockroaches in the room. We decided to go to the front desk, which changed our room. It was 11:00 PM, we repacked our suitcases and lost another hour of our time. The next day, the front desk contacted us: we had to change rooms. Why? The one we were in was a "sea-view" room (which left something to be desired, by the way), while we had booked a "garden" view room. Following their call, we are changing rooms once again. Another hour lost on vacation.
This third room did not have an opaque curtain, following which we had to go to the front desk FOUR times to ask them to come and put up a curtain for us. We were told that a housekeeper would come by in the afternoon. The end result: we never got one.
Here is also a short list of other negative things:
- the housekeeper who leaves clean laundry lying around on the ledges as well as on the floor
- the Wi-Fi that works 1 time out of 10
- the small pool that was not cleaned a single time (trash lying around, etc.)
- during dinner, we would receive our drinks once we had finished eating
- the 3 rooms were dirty
When we spoke with the manager, the only sentences we were told were: "I understand" and "I am informing the hotel managers." At no point was a solution considered.
The hotel in no way deserves 4 stars!

Family holiday
I couldn't describe it any better. Truly wonderful.
It is our last day here,
We came to Castello Resort Village for 10 days.
Everything was perfect.
The food and service were excellent.
We met the manager Ervis, who did everything to provide excellent service.
We were also lucky enough to meet Christopher a great administrator there,
He was very polite and a true gentleman.
We will definitely be back.
We recommend it without a doubt!
