Quiet, beautiful room, and top-notch staff!
Very good stay spent at this establishment
Spacious room and dream location when you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Skiathos.
The staff is incredibly welcoming and pleasant. Always a smile.
Room cleaning performed perfectly.
Just a small point for improvement to consider. A second coffee machine is needed because there is too much of a wait.

I wish I could rate different aspects of this hotel.
I would rate the service 5* as it was excellent! Friendly, really helpful and professional. Food 5* a little expensive but good. We had booked breakfast and there was a lot of choice all of it good. There is only 1 coffee machine though, so there can sometimes be a queue. Room 3* it was nothing like the pictures displayed. We had a garden room view, which it certainly wasn't and that is something I will take up with Love Holidays. It was small and the dressing table and mirror had no light so you couldn't really use it. There was only 2 drawers for storage. Also there was a fridge, and kettle plus 2 lamps, which left no plug sockets for you to plug your own items in. Hence we couldn't use the lamps as we needed to charge phones, use straighteners etc. Location 4* really close to a bus stop and 950m to the beach, which again is wrong to what the description says which states it is only 200m. Another one for Love Holidays to explain. Pool 2* unfortunately this really let's the hotel down. Towards the end of our holiday we used the pool a few times and it was dirty. There was a film on the surface and yellow scum patches. Also yellow on the tiles of the pool. There was lots of dead bugs and debris in the pool, it was not nice to swim in and we showered every time we got out.
This is generally a nice hotel in lovely grounds, but if like us you want to see a lot of Skiathos, it is an expensive place to stay. When we visit again we will stay somewhere cheaper as we was hardly at the hotel.
Overall, I would recommend but please sort the pool out. As I said earlier, cannot fault the service.
They also do a Greek night and Mamma Mia night once week. Greek night was good and it was €28 for an all you can eat BBQ buffet.

Keep your expensive bikinis at home!
This hotel is a 3 star at best. Aesthetically it is beautiful... the colourful buildings and the flowery grounds. However the reality of it is that it needs a renovation on the inside. Rooms are small and basic. We weren't too bothered about this as they were very clean but not much floor space when the suitcases are in. Photos are largely deceiving as per the other reviews I would agree the images make them look bigger better and modern but they are not.
The staff are all smiley until there is a problem. The pool! It is not clean. Our first day we had noticed a green slimey film on the surface which again mirrors another person's review. My husband put his hand in and it was green. My bikinis and other guests bikinis also turned green. I contacted jet 2 who addressed the situation straight away by demanding an updated pool report as the last one was completed in may and tests were completed regarding hygiene. Funnily, the day jet 2 were due to come which the owners knew about, the pool was hoovered and cleaned. However this was very much surface level. The vents in the pool are only on one side which means the pool is not getting filtered properly. When we spoke to the owners they were very quick to blame sun cream and lacked accountability. Now as I am well travelled I can 100 percent say that I have never experienced this at a pool before in Greece. The owners attitudes quickly changed, again echoing previous reviews when there was a problem. From the stage jet 2 came they then 'cleaned' the pool (wiped the sides with a dirty sponge making the algae then go in the pool and used the same dirty net to hook out bugs). We only went in the pool once the tests came back safe but again, not pleasant to be in having to dodge the algae floating about and throwing away swim wear. Pool needs to be emptied, scrubbed and to be honest retiled.
The food is fine but the drinks are very expensive. Happy hour is in the evening however many guests were saying that if they did it in the day then people would be more likely to buy drinks as opposed to going to the supermarkets next door to buy drinks and use the bakery which is better and much cheaper as skiathos is very expensive.
Location is good. Busses are easy but get very very busy. Skiathos town worth a visit. Boat tips are also recommended.
Breakfast fine. Exactly the same thing every day but you know what you are getting. If you like variety you won't like it.

Would not go back to this hotel again but skiathos itself is worth a visit.

Lovely peaceful hotel
My wife and I have just returned from five nights at the Mandraki Village hotel. We stayed in a pool view room number 705, which was spotless clean as were all areas of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and the price of the drinks being reasonable for a hotel.
The main bus route stop was less than five minutes walk and a cost of 3 euros for the half hour ride into town. There are a few restaurants near the hotel and the nearest beach is about a 15 minute walk.
The staff were always polite and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel for a quiet peaceful stay.

Underwhelmed by the room
We were really disappointed- the room we were given bore little resemblance to the photo on our booking. We asked if we could change but were told that they were full & wouldn't be able to, had they tried a little, I'm sure they could have helped us - we felt misled. I wouldn't book the standard room for this reason. The place was spotless it has to be said apart from the pool which had a dirty green line all around, obviously from the grass that surrounds it, really needs to be cleaned daily. The pool is also far too small for the size of the complex. The place lacked atmosphere in June, if you like quiet & dreary, it may well be for you. The beaches within walking distance are all beautiful, it's a shame however that the nearby restaurants are all at the side of the busy road. All in all, we liked Skiathos but wouldn't book here again.
