To be avoided at all costs! Hygiene, condition, comfort, cleanliness: completely unacceptable!
We chose this place for its proximity to Stafylos beach.
Upon arrival, we were not impressed by the general appearance of the studio. The lady who greeted us noticed our hesitation and offered us another unit, but it was no better. We stayed with the first one as it had a nicer view.
That night was awful. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable.
In the morning, we took a closer look and discovered the old spring mattress was in terrible shape, which explained the unpleasant “massage” we endured during the night. Worse, there were suspicious stains and hair stuck to the mattress.
The slatted bed base was also in poor condition, confirming the extreme age of the bedding.
We had planned to make breakfast, but one saucepan had a completely scratched non-stick coating, and the other had a makeshift repair on the bottom made with an unknown material — we quickly gave up the idea.
The shower was another problem: cramped into a tiny corner, with a curtain that was too short, water flooded the bathroom floor almost immediately.
We informed the person in charge (the owner?) that we wouldn’t stay another night.
He offered us a more “modern” room, but we declined — we had zero confidence in the place and didn’t want to risk ruining our stay in Skopelos.
We called Booking.com’s customer service, who were very understanding but unfortunately couldn’t convince the owner to refund the 6 remaining nights. He argued that he had offered us another room — which we refused for valid reasons.
Luckily, we found a much better place to stay and enjoyed the rest of our time in Skopelos… but lost 6 nights of payment for this terrible experience.
PS: Exiting the property by car is tricky, even dangerous, due to a sharp turn onto a busy road.

The owners gathered all the junk they found in the rooms instead of proper furniture, wouldn't stay there again even if I'd be paid for , you gotta have a car to stay in stafylos
