Best view over Ammouliani!

The lovely and quiet accommodation, Villa Gemeli, has 5 houses. They are built on one of the highest hills of the island, offering us an amazing view over the Ammouliani's Port and Mount Athos. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with equipped kitchen.
We enjoyed the sunrises from the large veranda and lots of "laughter and singing" from the seagulls :))
We are glad that we met the owner, Mr. Spiros Avdimiotis, a great and welcoming man, who we hope to see again. We think that we gained a friend...
We are thankful for the good company, the amazing experience and splendid view!
We would've stayed there forever!

First impression of Greece

It was my first trip to Greece. My friend told me that it couldn't be wherever, and that I should go to the most impressive place in the country, with the most beautiful view, and stunning beaches. So he brought me to Villa Gemeli - Ammouliani island. There are charming and hospitable villas with all convenience needed and with incredible view that shows you the great Mount Athos.

Best in Ammouliani!

Great place to stay. Amazing view!!! Very clean rooms, easy to access, friendly staff and a great owner. The location is supreme with the best views of the island and mount Athos. Can't wait to go back...

Better view is not existing!

The rooms are situated in small houses, inside is everything you need including the kitchen with all stuff. The bathroom was little bit small for me, but it's not something that can be annoying.
Inside everything simple but clean plus everyday cleaning. You have to know that it's not luxury apartments, but a very good place with the price 40 euros per night in July.
All villas have amazing view on the mount Athos and the Ammouliani's port. But of course you have to be with your own transport, because villas situated about 600 meters up from the village and it is not comfortable to walk all the time up and down.
It was amazing to sit with a cup of coffee at mornings and a glass of wine at nights in our terrace and enjoying the view. Actually, you don't even have to go out for a drink - there's no better place with a view on the whole island))
But be ready that you can be woken up from seagulls' "singning" flying all around. Also because of high location it is more windy, which is amazing at summer months, but at nights be ready to wear a long-sleeve blouse.
Special thanks to the owner - Spiros - very polite person, who always made us smile)

Wonderful sea vacation

Villa Gemeli has been our favorite place for sea vacation since 2012.it's a wonderful place with magnificen view to the whole island. The rooms are not very spacious, but are clean and well-serviced. And the owner and manager, Mr. Spiros Avdimiotis, is very hospitable and polite person.
