Home from home

Just spent 2 weeks in stalis at the koula apartments and loved it so much we booked to go back even before we left. Theo made us feel welcome and gave us a fantastic service. He even helped us as we were booked on a Thomas Cook flight on our return.
The apartment we stayed in had a modern kitchen with glass induction hob. It was always clean and Theo made sure we had clean sheets during our stay and towels. The bed was comfortable and there were extra pillows if we required them. The air conditioning in the bedroom was a god send as it was really warm when we were there.
All in all I would highly recommend these apartments not just because they are clean and tidy but because the friendliness and attention we had off Theo was outstanding. He made us feel like friends and that is something you don't get often.

Disappointing

Stoped for 2 weeks with family had 2 rooms, was met by Theodore on arrival who seemed very welcoming and happy to help, was told air conditioning you have to pay on departure as it’s on a meter so can not predict how much it will cost you, was told was saving on water so to text if need towels, sheets changing but would be done every 3 days but on day 4 no sign of anything being done, text and asked for new towels etc no response, shower broken in both rooms, had to use elastic band to hold up, toilet did not flush had to tip bottles of water down to flush, air conditioning water tub overflowed on balcony as not emptied. Door to one room had to push shut and lock as broken. Bathrooms are not adequate for one person to shower properly let aloan a family, rooms them selves are ok just basic.

Basic but ok

One bedroom apartment with 2 balconies (chairs on both broken), kitchen facilities ideal, we paid extra for air con (which for first few days was hit & miss). Bathroom small - not the best. Apartment was tired & could be cleaned a bit better.
(Bear in mind that used toilet paper had to go in a waste bin & as it’s not cleaned we had to walk down street to dispose of the bag).
Also it was cheap so you do get what you pay for & we still had a fab holiday!

We went to the Cafe Yamas Bar for breakfast on two occasions, and we were not disappointed with the excellent service, the quality of the food, and the various sizes of the breakfasts you could order, depending your appetite.

Great room, very spacious, Theo, the owner, was friendly and very helpful. Free safe, king-sized bed, sheets & towels changed every other day. Bathroom a bit small but adequate, toaster provided on request. Two minutes walk to the beach road, good location. Really enjoyed, would definitely stay here again
