Hotel to wean off!

The hotel as such is already quite secluded from the village on the outskirts. The driveway looks like a construction site that was not properly completed. The hotel does not fit properly in its size and type in the small town of Tsepelovo.There is only the driveway- no garden or any seating outside! It didn't lie in the missing place - that's for sure!
Despite the modernity that appears at first glance, the hotel is poorly managed. We were almost the only guests in this huge building and only a man who could barely speak English led it and was obviously overwhelmed with it. To the room I list everything that was not good: the sheets and the sheets had brown-red spots that must not have gone out when washing. Wasps came in through a gap in the bathroom window every 5 minutes, which then entered the room - so somewhere there was a nest in the wall and the windows not neatly grouted! Opening windows was not possible because of the wasps. In addition, during our stay the toilet flush broke. In addition, the jet of shower was unbearable and warm water also more of a coincidence - we had none! In addition, the handle of our room door was not to be operated so you only came in with keys. The hotelier was not unfriendly, but he didn't really bother to balance his linguistic inability. Breakfast was "efforted" however, classes away from what we got in other small hotels with fewer stars. There was plenty of food, but nothing handmade! Rather loveless and unimaginative was the breakfast. You also never knew what you would get because he did not communicate with us or could not. So he delivered a well-intentioned omelet at the end that we could hardly eat at the end of breakfast, because it came late and we also did not know that it would still come!
I really can’t understand how the price of 93 € per night justifies - if he had only spoken some English - I would have monied the price! On Booking.com, this hotel ranks just under 9?!? A completely incomprehensible review! I strongly advise against staying there!

Terrible experience

Unacceptable. Terrible!! Dirty. Cold. The owner is rude. The breakfast is nothing standard. The comments on booking are FAKE.
he had put glue on the thermostat and it was stable at 20 degrees.

Welcoming and cozy

We stayed only for a night and paid 60€ (Breakfast included). Traditional Zagorian architecture of dark wood and stone. Cute, spacious room with private bath and autonomous heating. Some rooms have fireplace ( I guess that's why I would smell the smoke in the common areas). Decent breakfast with homemade pies and marmalades. Not great variety of cold cuts, cheese and sweet. Hospitable owners, willing to help. Great location with parking, 10 min walking distance to village center square where you can find espresso and delicious taverns. Recommended

Best breakfast ever

Very well appointed hotel; friendly staff and delicious home made cakes and pastries for the best breakfast (included in price) ever. Good value for money. Location great for hikers and nature lovers.
