Great Hotel

I stayed at Selyria Resort for a week with my Son and we was greeted by very friendly and professional staff . Nikos brought us two very refreshing drinks from the bar without us even asking and was an absolute gentleman . All staff from in the restaurant , bars, and reception were great, The cleaners did a fantastic job too . And the room was really nice with air conditioning. Also the food was really nice and the Chefs did a fantastic job. The Manager was really nice and helpful too. He may be the owner I never got to find out.

Highly recommend! Have a reasonable mediterraneo expectations and enjoy yoir holiday!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a fantastic all-inclusive stay at Selyria Resort and would happily return.
From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome. Despoina and Liudmyla at reception greeted us with big smiles, offered us a welcome drink, and were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a small issue with our room key card, but it was resolved immediately, calmly, and professionally.
Our room was comfortable and of a good standard. If you're travelling with an adult son or another adult family member, just be aware that the room layout is designed more for couples. We also had a room overlooking the rear of the hotel rather than the pool, but honestly, we didn't mind at all. You're not in Zakynthos to sit in your room—you come to discover this beautiful island!
The food deserves special recognition. A huge thank you to the chef and the entire kitchen team. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and of excellent quality, with a great variety every day, including plenty of authentic Greek dishes. There was always something for everyone. Just remember that meal times end promptly, so don't arrive at the last minute.
The bar staff were amazing. Thanasis, the bar manager, was always smiling and making sure every guest was happy. Special thanks also to Anastasiia and Yulia for their wonderful service and friendliness. The all-inclusive drinks are local, but the hotel also has a premium bar with a great selection of branded drinks and cocktails at very reasonable prices.
The pool was never overcrowded, and we always found plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The beach is only a short walk away, with a lovely beach club nearby.
The location is excellent—within walking distance of the centre of Tsilivi with its shops, restaurants, and nightlife. We rented a car, and the hotel was the perfect base for exploring the whole island. The airport is also only about 30 minutes away.
The only small downside was that the Wi-Fi could be unreliable in some areas of the resort, but that certainly didn't affect our holiday.
A big thank you to the entire Selyria Resort team for making our stay so enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!
Some reviews are absolutely silly, people are thinking that are booking Rixos In Egypt. Have a real Mediterranean expectations !

Awful, definitely not a 5 star hotel.

Travelled as a family of 4, two adults and two 15 year old kids.
Check in was relatively straight forward.
We stayed in a quad room, the kids beds were just mattresses on the floor, our bed was spacious and comfortable.
The bathroom set up was the strangest I have ever come across. Toilet on one side, with wash basin and shower on the other, which was "open plan". Absolute nightmare on an evening when we all want a shower. Nowhere to sit as the bathroom is open plan.
Bar - all drinks served in cheap, disposable plastic cups both day and night. Totally understand during the day around the pool, but on a night time, a glass on an evening should have been provided. The bar/restaurant manager was often in tracksuit bottoms and trainers when at work, definitely not appropriate. The two ladies on the bar didn't really speak, but would quite happily stop serving half way through your order to look at or reply to messages on their phones.
The bar stools/tables in the bar area were awful, very uncomfortable.
Snack bar - was the worse I have ever had. No choice. Just "toasted" sandwiches, and soggy chips sat in a covered "hot" plate on the bar.
The restaurant didn't have enough tables for everyone, and because they only opened for a couple of hours at lunch and dinner, you had to get there early or miss out.
The food in the restaurant was the best thing about the whole holiday. Not a huge selection, but what was there was very tasty and no cheap or fatty meat was served.
The hotel had several groups of young men having a "lads" holiday. They would often get very drunk and be a nuisance, even being in the pool one evening with no clothes on......yet the hotel describes itself as family friendly.
The pool areas was dirty and not maintained at all. A huge weed was growing next to one of the pools and was there for the whole 2 weeks of our stay. The sunbeds were comfortable but again very dirty. Some umbrellas were provided, but not enough and they were filthy.
No gym or spa as was advertised and the beach was not 50 metres away, more like half a mile walk.
This hotel is definitely not a 5 star hotel, more likely a 2 star, I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

Rude staff zw

Rude staff. No air conditioning or tv remote in room despite requesting over 4 times.
Other than that it's a Chilled hotel
But - Would not go back

Below expectations

Acceptable rooms, cleaning needs to be reviewed in the bathrooms and in the pool area, low quality food, the willingness to access the services even before check-in time and after checkout time is appreciated, some staff members in the dining area were very kind. Serious incident, in which my wife remained stuck in the elevator and no one went to her rescue, not even to give her verbal support, no one was able to unlock the doors and when I intervened urging a solution they tried to avoid me, I had to tell them to call the firefighters... After 20 minutes the doors miraculously opened for us.. no one came to apologize or ask how my wife was doing.
