Unforgettable stay

Quiet location near Vergina and the museums. Garden and private vineyard with unique views of the valley from the terrace. Nice hotel in the local architectural style with spacious and well-equipped rooms.
Excellent breakfast and evening meal with its own wine.
Warm welcome and nice conversations and information from the charming hostess.
That's all you can expect and all this at a correct price.

A beautiful hotel with a warm welcome and excellent food.

A beautiful place to stay, a short drive away from the tourist area around King Philip’s tomb. The room was a delight. Comfortable bed, great shower, good air conditioning and real sense of luxury and ease. The building, gardens and estate were stunning.
A very warm welcome from our hosts, a delicious dinner with wine from the Estate and a memorable breakfast. It was very warm so we had all our meals outside with panoramic views.
We will come again when we next visit the area.

Rustic retreat

We booked our one-night stay at the last moment as our self-drive tour went a bit awry at the end of our holiday. Fortunately, they had a deluxe room available which proved to be very comfortable, complete with jacuzzi bathtub, which was much appreciated after a fraught journey.
The hotel,- a new-build (but in traditional style) is surrounded by vineyards, feels quite isolated on its’ lonely hilltop, but of course this means it makes for a very peaceful, tranquil setting, overlooking Haliacmon reservoir. Its’ location means it a perfect bolt-hole for visiting the archaeological sites of Vergina only a short distance away. I should imagine it is also a popular venue for weddings and other functions.
The owners are a delightful husband and wife team who seem to run the place single-handedly when things are quiet. Indeed, while there, apart from another couple, we had the place to ourselves resulting in the evening meal in the restaurant being disappointing. The breakfast, on the other hand, was splendid with all manner of Greek specialities.
Quiet, relaxing rural stay.
