Excellent stay

We stayed in the hostel and really felt that we found the most welcoming refuge in Pelion. From the first moment we felt like at home. The people who have it are excellent, polite and always willing to help with a smile.
The owner, a man with an artist soul; playing great guitar and painting, filling the space with a unique, warm energy. Its presence and passion makes the hostel stand out and leave the guest a very beautiful memory.
The space is comfortable, clean and attentive, with details that show real love for the visitor. We couldn't ask for anything better!!We will definitely go back and recommend it with all our heart!

Good place and great service

[Note that we know the place as "Traditional Mansion Evilion" and not "Archontiko Evilion"but according to the picture I am confident that this is the same place]
This is a very good hotel - a great choice to spend a night or two in Makrinitsa.
It has a good and quiet location (400 meter walk from the main parking; may seems longer when you walk it with suitcases) and the room (although a bit small) is very pleasant and cozy.
With all the hotel qualities, we mainly remember Vasiliki - the hotel host... very friendly and helpful (even when we asked to switch rooms) - it seems that she really cares for you to enjoy the stay.

Beautiful view & excellent service

This is a very cozy and traditional hotel. Perfect for a romantic giveaway or a family trip. We got a room with the most amazing view of Volos. Excellent location, it is right at Makrinitsa, about 2’ walking from the main square and about 5-7’ from the main parking. It is a little bit hidden after the square, so it is very peaceful and quiet. If you have big luggage it could be a little inconvenient because the street are uneven stone streets, but besides that it is great.
Vasiliki is an excellent host, always offering the best customer service possible.
Breakfast was nice, french toast, cake, bread, ham, cheese.

A beautiful boutique hotel

A rare find: historically preserved with beautiful views, genuine food and lovely coffee. The owners made our visit a special treat. We slept with the sea breeze on the third floor of the tower and had views across Volos and ocean below. Perfect for couples, singles and families.
