Outstanding service from the staff. The was very clean and the amenities were great. The hotel was right on Tumon Bay…beautiful sunsets. Excellent breakfast buffet in the morning. I really liked the infinity pool that overlooked Tumon Bay.

Sewage Smell and Too Cold in Room that I Had to Wear Face Mask When Sleeping
It's our first time trying this well known brand "Lotte". I had done a lot of research for Guam hotels in advance and lastly picked this one purportedly for a good balance among price, location, cleanliness, beach availability based on the reviews here. We were disappointed after checking in.
The hotel (room internally and building externally) appears tired, torn and not that clean. We got sewage smell once entering into our room (my nephew described it as "public toilet" smell even). Our beds are right next to the shower/toilet room and we got the sewage smell unless we kept the door shut tightly (it's hard to close the door tight though, because certain bolts became dislocated I suppose). I noticed that there was no metal disc covering the hole of the sink, not sure if this constitutes to the bed smell. Everything inside the room is not well maintained anyway.
The table is greasy and we cleaned by ourselves. We dared not lying on the sofa.
The air conditioner in room is very strong (useless no matter how we adjusted it as it automatically restored to its preset temperature). The cold air blew directly to my bed and my face. I had to wear face mask when sleeping eventually (this is the first time in my life ).
Our room is of partial ocean views. But right down from our balcony is a deserted area with several demolished houses amid messy brushes. There's a notice in the room to remind us to keep the balcony door closed for avoiding cockroaches/lizards and high humidity. As such, we didn't enjoy the balcony or any good views as anticipated at the point of booking.
We have an unpleasant if not depressing stay overall. It's my fault for not to pay more for a better hotel. We have lost confidence in the brand "Lotte" and we think we won't stay again even in Korea.

Need a little update, the room is a bit dusty. Needs cleaning specially the toilet area. Towels need to be bleach

We love staying at the Lotte. The beach access/area is a little more private than other parts of Tumon beach. The room is spacious; the bathroom is large with great lighting options. The balcony door for our room was extremely hard to open and close this stay. Our room also had issued staying cold/getting cold if you opened either the hotel door or balcony door for too long.
The Beng Teng Spa is our favorite on island. We book massages whether we are staying there or not.
If your room is located in the tower/beach view balcony then the parking is a little annoying. There IS a parking lot at the bottom of you side of the hotel however the "Staff Door" can be locked at inconvenient times even though all the guests were using it to get in and out. The parking located at the main entrance is VERY small/limited and the parking across the street is far enough. Having to park on your side of the hotel and still having to walk around to the main entrance is an oversight we hope to see remedied on our next visit.
We had special offers during this stay. Free bottle of wine and free beers and cocktails at the pool after 8 or 830pm and it was adults only during that time.
Overall we would still choose to stay at the Lotte. The amenities make up for the quirks we dont care for as much.
