Central and classic

Surely it has had better years, but it is still a good option. I got a medium to small sized room, with a well-appointed (modernized) bathroom. Friendly service and includes a good breakfast in the cafe next to the hotel. the perfect location in the main square of the city.

Reasonable

Old hotel only with TV and a bathroom and a good bed.Not has freshness, but lives crowded, mainly because it is the only one located a few meters from the Cathedral and the Palace and excellent service of the guys that always please you. They gave very bad luck that the earthquake of day 4 spoiled the TV from the room that was.

Hotel da avoide

I used to stay at Hotel Centenario frequently, but this last experience was really disappointing, and I have decided not to come back again. Although I had a reservation for two nights, I left early due to unacceptable conditions.
The room, besides being expensive, was in a sorry state: in bed I found hair, and both the cushions and the sheets seemed dirty and gave off a bad smell. This made my stay very uncomfortable.
The staff left much to be desired: they were disorganized and underinformed, which further compounded the bad experience.
It is a real shame that a structure like the Centennial Hotel, which used to have a good standard, is now so neglected and dirty. I do not recommend it at all until both cleanliness and quality of service improve.

Disappointing

In previous years I had good experiences with this hotel, however, this time it has been of very poor quality.
They gave me a room on the ground floor right next to a machine or pump that would turn on every five minutes and not let me sleep throughout the night. In addition, the curtains could not be closed and light from outside entered the room.
I made a complaint to the elder Mr. Receptionist, but he did not acknowledge it or assume any responsibility. For this room type you should not charge 240 Q. What a disappointment!

Ok

Perfect location! Very old style hotel. Looks like at the time of the revolution, but for this much money what we expect?! Ok for 1night, but not relaxing at all! Breakfast voucher valid for the Patsy Restaurant next door with the best breakfast I had in Guatemala!
