A beautiful place to relax

We absolutely loved staying at the cabañas. The are beautifully designed cabañas with big rooms and creative touches throughout the property. The gardens are lovely and well maintained. Antonia who looks after the guests and property was very helpful with all of our questions or requests, and she cooks lovely meals if you want to eat there. Just a little off the lake with a private pier, but we really enjoyed relaxing in the gardens. The village of Tzununa gave us an insight into real life in this part of Guatemala, which was great to escape the tourist swamped parts of the lake. Would love to come back again someday

Don’t waste your money - ugly place, rude owner, bad location

Located away from cafes, shops, restaurants. Hard to find down alleyways lined with barbed wire and dog poop. Owner is exceptionally rude. The garden is walled by concrete, feels like you are in a prison yard. The kitchen is filthy, and the hot water doesn’t work. There is no hot tub anymore. Don’t waste your money lining the pockets of a rich American who runs his business from afar and doesn’t care if you have a decent stay or not.

Good deal!

This is a very good deal. You don't necessarily see the lake but the rooms are new, great beds, super clean and inexpensive. Close to the lake, 2 min walking distance, quiet and well maintained. Recommend
